i have been a nokia fans for a long time, but nokia just got to stay on top of the edge, i like the look of it, but i dont see any big inprovement from the function,
anyway the pirce of this phone will not be that high (think of this is a upgraded ver. of 5800) and the design does look pretty good + the nice manufacture i think this will still be a pretty nice phone to get.
personally i would wait for the x10 from se, or just get both as i think nokia still made the best cellphone. very looking forward to check it out on hand.

I am both the user of nokia n SE the average pricing of the phone when u rly think about it is outrageous(600 euros) I wud expect this frm the SE X10 seein u hav far better cam,better processing,gr8 UI wit timescape n mediascape I wudnt mind pushin out d few bucks,but 4 that nokia HELL NO.At a reasonable price I wud not mind havin it.Am I makin sense ppl u tell me?

Its a good thing that nokia is back on track with its battery life, most of the good N series and S60 have very bad battery life n doesnt last long at all!

even if there's no memory card slot, it doesnt mean it will be a flop. Phone manufacturers right now are trying to eliminate redundant medium of file transfer. Bluetooth and USB cable are there as well and they can do file transfer like what a memory card can do, so they eliminate card slot. you cannot eliminate the USB cable because we use it for phone update and data sync (you cant update phone firmware and you cant sync emails, etc with a memory card). you also cannot eliminate Bluetooth because 3rd party accessories connects through bluetooth...
so they're trying to make phones simple right now. Notice that phones eliminated Infrared already because there's already wifi and bluetooth... people thought infrared is impt before and cannot be eliminated and they complain. but now, they're all quiet... now they're trying to do this with memory card slots...
just my thoughts...

They are focusing on making OVI store a better a more robust center for applications rather than making phones with high end camera modules and sound chips. They want to make the s60 experience more value for money. At the end of the day, a smartphone is different from a regular phone because of its applications and this where Nokia is heading. Apple did a fantastic job in this area and today everyone is buying the phone for this same reason.

I think without memory card slot there is no reason to make this model,because more cheap models have memory card slot in it.
Why should we go for this.....?No matter its built in memory is bigger but card slot is must...In my opinion its flop...

yeah about time nokia goes android.. hows about slapping on more ram and installing android.. with a capacitative touchscreen and android speed... it'll be smooth as silk and pack a wallop!! bow to the mighty nokia all u mortal manufacturers...
hehe pardon the extremism.. nokia tends to be a bit slow on the uptake at times.. and this phone's been on the coming soon list for like 3 months now! and when is the 4th quarter supposed to be?
