big_texas, 02 Sep 2009Cool phone, capacitive,16M colors... but only 128 RAM, 434 ... morenokia will never ditch symbian they invested so much in it and they will continue to use it as long as they make cellphones maybe in their mid-ranged phones not their flagship ones but that doesn't mean that symbian sucks it's really good & user friendly OS they just need to work on the UI like maemo 5

Cool phone, capacitive,16M colors... but only 128 RAM, 434 MHz processor and still uses the ancient symbian? I will pass this! Not impressed at all!

after seeing the n900 nokia needs to work on the inteface in symbian :( but capacitive screen thats a good start and now i'm having second thoughts about the n900 :'(

C, 02 Sep 2009does Anyone know this screen glass is capable Or hackable o... moremultitouch shud be supported by capacitive screens but since nokia might not wna deal with legal issues, they might prevent the software from supporting it. a hack probably will be found and then it will support multitouch.

Anonymous, 02 Sep 2009This phone it's very beutifull to see, but it's capacitiv s... morecapacitive can support handwriting recognition. there are even certain styli that it supports (look at pogo stylus). capacitive can have multitouch and is far more responsive than resistive. it doesnt scratch as easily as the cheap plastic layers that hv to be used on resistive which makes the display look more faded especially under sunlight. nokia made the right choice by choosing the better and more advanced technology. there is only one touchscreen type that beats capacitive and that is optical (but it was only used by neonode). if u prefer outdated technology that is fine but dont complain about new technology.

GSMArena changed the specs. Capacitive touchscreen, oh yeah.
Still, I did some research and everyone says it's going to come *exclusively* with Comes With Music, which explains its price (that and the headphones included).
Doesn't make sense. Comes With Music is available in just a few countries. What in the world is gonna happen to those countries where the service is not available yet? I guess Nokia will force Comes With Music availability everywhere. A more reasonable approach would be a customer's choice. The phone without Comes With Music would dramatically reduce is price. What do you think, people?

This phone it's very beutifull to see, but it's capacitiv screen, it's BullSh.., you cant paint in it, no hand writing recognition, you can't point correct at small things on web pages, you cant use pencil to write or touch on it's screen, but rather than use a elephant fut print, just like iphone.

A smartphone c... moreactually the n97 is one of nokia's fasting selling device at the moment with a rate more than the N95 when it was release way back.
this phone doesn't need a higher processor to preserve its battery life and the phone is not even expensive. the 450 Euro is a package which includes the Comes With Music service, you take that out and you have less than 300 Euro phone. that if they will do that.
as of the moment, you cannot purchase this phone without the Comes With Music service.

the specifications is good enough...but the material look so cheap with the high prices.
