gambit, 14 Sep 2011when my screen locks itself and i unlock it, I cant see wha... moreYou can do a hard reset, which basically means restoring the phone to as new, without any apps you have since installed. Its not risky at all. You must do a full back up to sd card before so not to lose your apps. Go to office>file manager>back up, and the rest is pretty simple. Also make sure you have about 3/4 or a full battery. I have done this a few times, and it sorted out bugs on my nokia 5800 homescreen. I find that i get all my apps back in the restore phase(which you do after the reset) except opera browser, and my antivirus. However both those apps are fine when i reinstall them, and keep all the bookmarks etc. The anti virus also lets me download the same virus protection i payed for (i use netqin). Ok, do the full back up(ask me how if u dont understand), then type * then the hash key ( my phone wont do that key in email) 7370 hash into dialler, then the screen will ask you to restore phone to original settings, press yes. Then after the phone loads up, go to file mngr and restore your settings.

when my screen locks itself and i unlock it, I cant see what is on the screen, and eventually after trying to access messages the screen comes back to normal. i cant even see who is calling at times. i cant update the software when the phone suggest to update software. Is there any tips besides taking it to nokia retailer or agent to have it fixed because they can take from 3weeks to 6months to sort it out.....what to do???

I have had nothing but problems with this phone since getting it for christmas.....sensor pads to receive calls didn't work,ended up had replaced with new one, again pads didn't work or hands free on loudspeaker...then after numerous further visits to nokia to have various things repaired including not being able to manually top up my sim card - phone screen just blacked out so i couldn't see any keyboard - nokia, after 9 months, with the equivalent of monthly visits for repair and the inconvenience of having to get to the repair centre constantly, have agreed to replace it again. Never had these issues with nokia before, so am willing to see how the replacement goes..... there are other firms with comparable products in the market so i hope that this time my experience is better.

There should then be a screen that then says do you wish to save to gallery. Then save. That way it should go automatically into your music player. Then add to playlist whilst in musicplayer.
