I bought X6 2 months ago.Strangely,what i felt marvellous about this phone was that...it s crash resistant:-)...believe me..it fall 12 tyms from m6y hand(i was counting it from the first day i bought it..coz...20 mins aftr i bought the phone,it got crashed into 4 parts..and ma heart had blown off:-))..but it was lucky...
to be serious,its a nice phone and i think most of the negative responses are from useless fellows who are trying to degrade the phone and nokia for some useless Java phones...with camera ,sound ,internet usage,music and videos...am really satisfied with this 16K S60v5 phone..am usin 16Gb and since am usin it as a mobile(not like a laptop) am satisfied with the storage also..capacitive touch provides me good experience with touch phone.(since thhis s ma frst touch phone).I was usin E63 earlier and I dont miss anythin from it...moreover the stylish black colored gadget s nice to be hold...catching the attention..i dnt have any probs wid dis gadget,xcept the crashes it got...So guys...I strongly refer this phone to all those who are havin a budget of 15-16K...

Anonymous, 17 Oct 2010this is a totaly waste of money guys.......i'm using this p... morei think u dont know haw to use a phone....first learn and then speak!!x6 is an awesome mob phone wid crystal clear sound surround and a gr8 5mp camera wid dual led flash that can shoot spectacular images in both day & nite.for Rs.15000 only wid a long battery backup.
whereas wave 4 Rs 26000not value 4 money has a poooooor quality camera which lacks flash and it is not amusic font too. it is a waste of money fone and only chutias wud buy it.

I was reallllyyy crazy bout it by readin the specs on the net!!
I went to croma(sion) 2day to check it out by maself, and swear , i got totally freaked out!!
the camera aint like 5mp(its shitty). and the fkin symbian(5) is bull* mahn. It aint a multi-touch, and only 128mb ram!!!!

this is a totaly waste of money guys.......i'm using this phone last 2months and also have samsung wave.....wave is world class phone....nokia x6 is not as good as the phone look..the sound is crapy in full volume....camera is totaly worst...even my old nokia n73 is far better in camera and sound ....nowdays nokia is producing crapyest products dont buy this bustard....nokia goonna hell soon..

hi i am using this phone from the last three month and i am well satisfied from this phone its camra qualty its sound qualty and app from nokia ovi are great.

I purchased this phone 5 months back.. The worst phone i ever used... Not comparable to any GSM phone.. Look is cheaper... Accessaries are not readily available in market...the only best thing this phone is having is its storage spce..
Can be use as mini HDD ..HAHA

hi,well lemme me tell you somthing about this beautiful device.....
its just a fucking damn phone. its juz been 2 months i baught this phone....Now,
1. call log remain last to 20 recent calls.
2. All my msgs were deleted by em selves.
3. updated its software twice but of no use.
4. voice cracks when we put speaker volume to high.
5. camera flash cant be off even if u select it manually.
6. headphones are not working properly.
7. while calling thz a mute/unmute option on screen, it dosent work.
And the greatest thing, when i asked nokia care about thz problems they said, "sir,give ur phone to us for a week we ll replace the defected parts like speakers and headphone jack."
bloody hell its just 2 mnths old n nokia care ppl are sayin we ll REPAIR ur phone instead of replacement.
Pls dont buy this phone. and if still thz sm1 who wanna buy....buy it fm me 12000

I'm planning to buy this phone. But pls someone who has this phone answer some of my questions.
1.Will the capacitive touchscreen still work if I cover it with a plastic or jelly case?
2.Is the phone casing scratch-proof or at least not does not easily get scratched?
3.How loud is the volume through the headphones? Is it as loud as N91?
4.Is the homescreen same as N97?
5.What's the latest firmware and is it hackable? If so, how to hack it?

I've ever used this phone, not so good. The sound quality is good but NOT LOUD. Even 5530xm can be better. Everything is good enough, but if you need a good music phone, DON'T BUY this, ericsson w595i is better!

I bought this phone for 2100 RMB , last month in china , My friend bought Htc HD2 for 4000 RMB , three months before , now the price of hd2 is 2700 RMB , but hd2 is so cooler than this phone bcoz of multi touch , the only thing i want more in my x6 is multi touch ,pls nokia bring multi touch to x6

Have used this X6 for a few months.
Mixed feelings about this device.
-GPS is great Give it a 10 out of 10. Its FREE and also has voice with street names. Could not verify 100% if it works without SIM card.
-Radio is good 8/10 need headphones to work as it doubles as an antenna.(headphones are very comfortable and sound quality is great especially base)
-MP3 music is good 8/10. Navigation is awkward but sound is very good. Bonus is that you can use ANY sound bites, or MP3 music you have as your ring-tones. Benefits of unlocked phones.
-Battery 5/10 depending on your use of applications that rely on either BT, WiFi, or 3G your battery will dry up fast. Sometimes in a matter of an hour.
-Software 6/10 although some aps are useful, having several running at the same time slows the processor down to the point that it takes about 5 to 10 seconds for it to wake up or switch aps.
-reliability 7/10 sometimes "glitchy" I usually don't turn mine off but eventually the device will lock up, or becomes very slow or an application will lock up. resetting the phone always clears it up.
-some annoying "features":
--if you pull the sim card or switch themes you will lose the 1-touch numbers.
--Using Downloaded themes to memory card slows down the response time of the device.
--No characters on telephone keypad. Frustrating when trying to dial with letters.
--Web surf 6/10. Won't play downloaded mpg files, or some mp4 files. Constantly "runs out of memory" when opening up a web page with lots of content.
--You can't add additional images to slide show. You have to add new ones plus re-add all your previous ones. Wish I could view photo album then choose image and select "add to slide-show".
-Camera is average 5/5, highly distorted. Take a picture of a large picture frame on the wall, fill it to the screen and you will see. Poor performance in dim locations. Bright sunlight is good. Images are very compressed. With tiny lens and compression, 5mp is more like 2mp camera. I have seen 1.2 mp camera's images look as good or better than this.
Overall if you want a phone with good sound quality and free gps navigation then get it. MP3 music, camera, use of various apps, web surfing as an added benefit but nothing really to brag about. Would improve significantly if it had a faster processor.

anon, 13 Oct 2010this phone is a chunck of junk ive had it 6 months and its ... moremaybe you drop it a few times.
My x6 still works and its kinda Rigid for me.
Always type this on your dialler if you have a nokia phone . *#0000# to check some software updates
