Nokia, rest in peace!! If you continue like this, you will be the world's 4th mobile phone maker soon! :( You should announce that Meego device already!! Where are the Dual Core Symbian phones you promised?? You announced only 2 weak smart phones this year. :( The E6 is awful. The X7 looks cool, but the specs are so 2009.

symbian and my path parted more that 2 years ago... sad actually, but today i'm can’t believe i stuck for so long with symbian - since 1999 with my first 'indestructible brick' 5110.
today im the proud owner of a droid. couldn’t be happier.
history apart, there is one specific theme stuck with all the pro-symbian fans: "why does nokia need better hardware (cpu, ram etc.)" & "symbian can run on the good ol' 680mhz bla bla bla".
must confess, the hardware alone doesn't make the phone great (as the new 1.2ghz BB is not that appealing to me either, most probable the RIM OS).
come on. don’t you guys also want to see nokia up there with the other top dogs? how come symbian is not bringing out a tablet or something for example? (not that i specifically want one, but still). why is that all the new ‘nice to have’ features are available on android and iOS (Playstation, 3D, 1080p, tablets etc.)?
to think nokia was always on the foreground when it comes to development and innovation, of which plentiful ideas and designs are now evident on many other phones. but, unfortunately they forgot to keep the OS up to date.
and the move to wm7? well, in my opinion, it’s not the winning combination. Anna OS should have emerged long time ago.
Who knows… maybe my path will cross with nokia once again in the future, but not while dragging symbian with or the new quick fix wm7…

To be released in Q2?? Lol, if this device is already obsolete compared with the current highend devices, imagine how obsolete it will be by then!!!

Person who buys no-autofocus camera is crazy! I understand if phone is very cheap and low class, but... Nokia, are you crazy? Your market position future is dark because on competition (Android) and now you don't do best you can and put these crap fixed-focus lenses on expensive business phones and media phones.
Nokia, you deserve going down!

No Autofocus! Why Nokia is neglecting autofocus in their handsets? A mobile with so high price tag SHOULD be with Autofocus! As Optical Zoom is not possible with mobicams, Autofocus is a must I think! Also if one thinks about autofocus timing and faults and chances of losing a shot, Nokia should give Autofocus with an option to turn the autofocus off, if the user dont think to use this, and to manually fixing the focus at Far(landscape/focus @ infinity) or at Near(Macro). But without Autofocus its not impressive at all!!

Everybody is entitled to his opinion and allowed to comment wether they like nokia or not and wether they like this device or not... I for one am on the side of those who can't understand why nokia put a decent camera on an otherwise great phone... Who but nokia still uses a fixed focus unit on an otherwise top end phone? I think it's a stupid decision to make and that goes for all the nokia fixed focus camera phones... It's really sad but nokia has gone waaay downhill in the last two, three years...

HaHa, 256 MB RAM and 680 MHZ cpu is nothing man. look to Samsung, LG, HTC tel.

i too am very disappointed with nokia especially their quality. my N8 hanged after 3 days use. my brother bought a C7 on sunday, returned it on monday coz the phone died.

Can you run android smoothly on 680 mhz arm? Why put higher specs hardware on a deduce if out offers no benefit but just reduces battery life.
