swarm, 06 May 2011what are you talking about? you don't seem to make any sense...He's basically saying that Nokia has been with us through the good and bad times. Nokia was the first to introduce such innovation like putting a camera on a cellphone and other innovations. He said that Android is young and don't have the extensive history that Nokia/Symbian have but he knows that Android is the dominant OS nowadays and it would not hurt/kill Nokia to give Android a try.

i have been reading too many comments on the sluggishness of nokia due to its old processor.
first of..does ur 1ghz android performs buttery smooth?
i phone 3G was buttery smooth with just abt400mhz.
it is not the processor..rather the softwares capability to harness the hardware.
i believe nokia will update the software to make it better.
and what piece of crap software in ur phone requires 1Ghz to run anyway?
nokia is a company that was there before we were born.obviously they should know their stuff better than us.
there must be a reason why they decide to use this.
and maybe when u understand why,it will make sense to u.

android is really good.. but symbian with broadcom BCM2727 gpu is the best! go to youtube and watch assassins creed (or any other!) game in n8 and in the "fast" htc or samsung phones with android! you should not even compare it! in nokia n8 is much faster and smoother! low levels of sar, very loud speakers, 50h of music play!:D this is my next phone! bravo nokia!

This is the different between Nokia and other manufacturers when talk about design. Look at the Samsungs, i can't get the different between Galaxy S and Galaxy SL and Galaxy 'Crab'. They're all look the same, and HTC did it too!

lol low end phone no secondary camera, price is high, only fixed focus no auto focus, only 680 mhz processor, so slow, it will be just like every other phone, nothing great,
