this device outsmarts n8 in every aspect (xcept12mp cam)
Battery life shd be longer with 1300mAh unit. I donno whether the icons will look as poor as they displayed. Very unconventional shape which many ppl might not except and they have to wait until another new nokia smartphone. 4" display is not a matter of joke and for some ppl (like me) 4" screen is much more preferable to 12MP camera(of n8). 10-12 other smartphones are yet to be released by this year (if nokia is not wrong) and im very anxious about the fact that any new successor can easily outsmart x7 !!!!

Injustice.Actually nokia's current full-focus cameras take very good photos, with everything in focus from 50cm to infinity, and the good thing is that you don't have to wait for it to focus at all. Just click and shoot.
The only drawback is that you can't take photos closer than 50cm.

N8 has 16gb internal memory plus expandable microsdhc up to 32gb
x7 no high capacity internal storage like x6,e7,n8
n8 3.5 inch screen
x7 4.0 inch screen
n8 made by alluminum body
x7 made by plastic with contain steel surface
the only good for x7 is it has 4 speaker and bigger screen but it lack of internal memory,no autofocus,
i recommend go for n8 is the best camera phone,best multimedia phone,

Generally the more applications you install in phone memory, the slower it'll become.
Instead, buy a fast SD card and install your apps there.

[deleted post]There isn't much you can do. You can either:
1. remember the password.
or
2. format the card, but doing so will delete everything that is stored in the card.
There might be some other method for changing or removing the password that I don't know about.
Maybe someone else could help.

No, it doesn't, unless the update is buggy itself, which is very rare.

Yes, it reverts back to the original state, but NOT to the first firmware version.
The firmware remains the same as you had before reset.

The BEST Nokia for me is N86...currently im using a c6-01. Thanks a lot for Stephen Elop,i will be changing to Android next year YAY! you know what? Symbian is selling millions of phones even without W7...We dont care about the OS much or the apps they re using...it takes years to gain peoples trust...thanks to steven elop...nokia should terminate him first!!!

Hey guys wat do u think if u hav 1ghz processor ur phone wont hang if it is so install a bugged app in your phone n see it wil hang or not every open platform wil hang bcoz it allows to install every app lik bugged or non bugged and android consumes more battery compare to Nokia's Symbian as per my experience symbian is best compare to all platforms

Fantastic looking hardware, too much competition out there though that looks a better deal though price wise, sorry Nokia still feel you need a range of o/s. Stick to s*3 for cheap phones, stick gingerbread in a couple go on it won't hurt trust me, give it a try.
Windows bad tie-up, bit like the dated now almost dead Intel/Windows thing gone mate!!
