The Safari browser was running at 2 fps because the current Safari don't support hardware acceleration. I expect it to be turned on in iOS5 and Android Icecream. The test is like comparing present iOS and Android browsers with a future build of WP browser and we all know that Android and iOS are moving targets. They do not stagnate and when WP advances, so does Android and iOS.

it would surely rival android in late 2012
it would beat android browsing after the mango update as already seen in html5 drawing test it was almost 2 times faster than droid and 10 times than ios
even it is more battery efficient(see review of htc hd 2 wid wp6.5) so it aces the most weak point of android and ios
other restrictions(like no flash in browser,no system wide file manager,no bluethooth transfers,no copy paste,etc) will also be lifted as nokia is free to customize wp7 after the micro-nokia deal and also the necessary updates would be released subsequently............
so plz never underestimate WINDOWS PHONE OS and NOKIA........MIND IT

wvga resilution at least

more powerfull battrey
amazing application and games for OVI store as in andiriod&Iphone markets .

Again, Nokia winmo phones will have autofocus, while nokia symbian Anna phones will have fix focus.
Nokia isn't behind. Nokia is just manufacturing variety of phones, from high end to mid range t0 low end. the others cell phone manufacturers only manufacture high end phones.

About the design, I agree!!! They are working hard to make attractive phones. Here there is a problem! Their problem is SE. Why?? The answer is simple. SE makes the MOST coolest smart phones in the world! You can say whatever you wants, the Xperia Play, the Xperia Neo will beat your X7. Your X7 will beat the GS2. Samsung is weak in these days in terms of design. In terms of performance, Samsung is better than Nokia. I have to say, that WP7 is a weak OS! When WP7 will be strong, Android will be unbeatable!! :-> Sorry, but this is the truth, and you MUST accept it. WP 7 is way behind Android. As probably you know, Android is the NUMBER ONE OS, and has beat Symbian in just 1.5 years!! How strong is Android! The only problem is the spyware, but they will do something about it. Nokia will have competition in WP7 category as well. Do you think that Samsung, LG and HTC will just sit? They will come out with awesome handsets too! The 2012 year will be very interesting. :) By the way, what happened with Meego?? They will announce the N950 or not?? What do you know about this? :) I have to say other thing as well. I don't hate Nokia!! I really respect them. I am only disappointed with them! That's all! Nokia's chief said, that they will announce a total of 12 smart phones this year. This will be true or not? What do you think Nokia fan? We are soon in May, and they have only ONE smart phone announced. I forgot to tell, that Nokia is good at making phones with big internal storage. The N97 was a masterpiece at his time! :) Now they are rivaled by Samsung, the second biggest mobile manufacturer in the world. Nokia does not have a cool successor of N97, this is my opinion.
The new Nokia phones lack Autofocus. :(
