xl, 28 Jun 2014It is necessary to root the nokia xl phone to play asphalt 8Yes, its necessary to root ur xl to install big games above 1gb atleast or even installing any google service. Look, this phone has 4gb internal memory which is partitioned in 3 parts, first- 1.2gb memory(sdcard0)also known as in built memory card shown in file manager to save pics,videos,ur stuff and even games. Second- 1.4gb system memory used for internal apps and some system files, when u sideload an apk file thru file manager below 60mb it gets installed in this memory. U cant use this memory forr ur stuff. Third is the rest used by the system which is not mentioned. So when u install games thru store it will get installed to memory card(sdcard0) which is inbuilt, from there u can move it from settings to system memory or back to the memory card inbuilt. So to install big games above a gb, u hsve to root ur xl in order to have fun...

karthick, 27 Jun 2014while rooting the nokia xl what problems will occure and th... moreNo there is no peoblem if u root ur phone. It just voids ur warranty which can be restored by unrooting. By rooting, u can save more battery, make ur phone run faster, install games directly from external memory or move games to external memory, install all the apps u want which are not permitted in ur phone like Google services and other apps which requires kikat android, by rooting, u become the real owner of ur phone and its even legal thats why it only voids warranty of the device which can be brought back buy unrooting... I rooted mine, and now I m taking all of the juice out of my $200 phone...

Buy any phone other than Samsung..Nokia is always good. Samsung is the no: 1 in hanging. Hanging is an additional feature provided by Samsung, eventhough we didnt ask for it. I am fed up using Samsung GT-S6802.

Nice Phone, Nice display, Camera is cool. It doesnt support whatsapp but whatsapp+ works fine. video play with VLC player and MX player is so cool aswell. only downside so far is internal memory which is quite low, however for its price, this phone is a plus.. Fastlane is cool, also note that it doesnt support google play services but there is a nokia store and you can install apps from other app stores.

Nokia xl over all good but don't support all android applications like hangout and others .Not purely android system basically cracked android system

Does this device supports HD videos 1080p via default video player or throught MX player or not without any lags if 1080p video lags thn it supports 720p video via default video player or through MX player or not....plz ladies nd gntlemen help mee out...i will b greatful to u throughout my life...
