Nokia has always launched crap mobiles. Nokia has been struggling in terms of market share and its profitability since last decade.
They have announced Nokia XL with reasonable price and features but before that they want to cash their previous rubbish models such as Lumia series (510, 620, 625, 720, 800, 900, 1020) and specifically Nokia X and X+.
Recently Nokia Handsets business has been overtaken by
Microsoft, so we can expect some improvement in the futre prospects.

i don't know about India but nokia xl and nokia x+ released here in uae on the 8th of May for aed 589 and aed 489 respectively.
i bought nokia xl because of bigger screen, bigger battery, 5mpx autofocus camera with flash and also 2mpx front camera for video calling.
till now am loving it but don't compare it to high end phones as the performance is not up to the mark but as low end its one of the best.
battery power stays longer for too much abuse i got exactly 34 hrs before i kept for recharge. compared to nokia x which used to give only 18 hrs of standby i feel its very good. the handset weighs little heavy but managable.
34 hrs. standby i got but may be it will not be the same for you guys and moreover i just started using it so may be gradually i may get more standby time.

Moto e announcing date may 13 and lunching and availble on 14-may.but nokia xl announced feb.not avilable in the market.so nokia stupid company.so dont waste u r time frnds.u can go to moto g/e.but dont move to samsung also.becaz sam mid range phone also scrap phones.

Guys XL is realizing on 30th June
Nokia's official Conversations blog claims that the Nokia XL will be available starting Wednesday at a EUR 109 (Rs. 9,100 approximately) MSRP, excluding local taxes and subsidies.
The Nokia XL was announced alongside the Nokia X and Nokia X+ at MWC. In March, at the Nokia X (Review | Pictures) launch in India, the company had announced that the Nokia X+ and Nokia XL would be launched within the next two months.
Notably, Nokia will be announcing the dual-SIM variant of the Nokia XL in India which has been listed on Nokia online store since the device's MWC announcement.
The Nokia XL with a 5-inch display is the largest in the Nokia X Android smartphone family, bearing a larger display than the 4-inch Nokia X and Nokia X+ smartphones. The Nokia XL runs the Nokia X software platform (version 1.0), which is based on the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) and is powered by Microsoft and Nokia services.
The smartphone features a 5-inch LCD display with WVGA (480x800 pixels) resolution, and offers a pixel density of 187ppi. The Nokia XL is powered by a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, clocked at 1GHz, alongside 768MB of RAM. It comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage and supports expandable storage up to 32GB via microSD card.
The XL sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and also houses a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone packs a 2000mAh battery which is rated to deliver up to 16 hours of talk time and up to 720 hours of standby time. The Nokia XL will be available in Bright Green, Orange, Cyan, Yellow, Black and White colour variants.
The Nokia XL Dual SIM comes preloaded with Nokia MixRadio and other social apps such as Facebook, Twitter, WeChat, Viber, and Skype.
And XL is Realizing on 30th June....
