No it can neither record nor play in 1080p resolution.. It can do so in 480p resolution only

Only advantage of nokia x and Nokia XL is more apps.. But there are still some software disadvantages:- No mulitasking (a must in todays phones), no direct apk file support (some plugin required in pc to direct it to app stores), no high end gaming, no Android home screen. And its not Android 4.4.2. It is Nokia Android 1.0.

Why would some one want this line of Nokia? The user interface looks like a cheap windows phone and from what I can tell there this phone offers none of the android experiences. If you get this phone you may as well get a "real" android phone or get a windows phone. To me this is Nokia making a joke out of Android.

this is a good mid range competitor.
if Nokia use Lumia 520/525 chipset & 1gb RAM
then it's best.

iphone main problem is no memirs card nd no Bluetooth sams ung htc main problem hang and poorly material nokia main problem old versin nd windo versin very difficult to use this version but nokia not hanging problem and strong hardware that did not broken out of hand now this is a good news about us because our mobile broken and hanging problem solve in low price in android version

I just fell in love with this phone. Love at first sight.. cant wait to get this phone. hope it will rock the floor and blow away all the other android stuffed mobiles.. may be this would be my first android.. as it was first to NOKIA..Kudos

I think there a huge segment of the market where you have people who love the fluidity of the lumia and nokia apps like here maps and nokia music but miss the access of the android apps. Now they can have both. I currently use the lumia 1520 and got tired of android phones with their viruses and unwanted apps that appear on the screen that need to be removed. Now we can have the best of both worlds. Well done nokia/Microsoft.

A very awesom smartphone from nokia. I hope this break the record of some smartphones from other companied. Its camera quality is better than other smartphones. thanks nokia to launch your android phone , but getting late to caught the market.

Gr8 job nokia u made a phone for everyone...iam sure spl the nokia xl will be a big hit with its specs...and hope fully nokia forked android will not lag as most android phones do. And nokia mix radio. Maps and office is way better than googles service. Nokia u rock....soon nokia x line up will replace asha series I guess. I have seen samsung phones lag and how...htc still better with android

Anonymous, 24 Feb 2014( 187 ppi pixel density) suckswvga(480 X 800) in 5" screen was used by samsung in galaxy grand too.. not really bad i think. and the good thing is nokia XL come with lower price tag than galaxy grand..
