Go to settings, scroll down select security , then screen security, enter your lock screen password and and select NONE. This will remove the lock screen password.

I entered into SETTING >MOBILE DATA & NETWORKS>VPN. under VPN I enter password not knowing the password will LOCK the screen anytime the phone is in sleep state but UNLOCK it at all time which is given me problem if i need to make quick call. and I have been trying to remove/uproot the password without affect the application on the phone. please if you known how to remove the password, kindly help. thank you........................
vpn setting is only to create virtual private network, and would only affect your internet connectictivity. This can also reset by going to that very setting and deleting that vpn connection you had created if you dont want it anymore.
in the answer provided above, i could not see where to delect the setting while getting to VPN again. can still help & give the step to follow thank you

nova launcher developed by TeslaCoil Software company. Dont pick any other fake one. Nova always beats apex. check the web. double the download too.

unknown, 07 Dec 2014.ii just sold out my nokia xl but now ii am very sad , am ... moreIf you ask me a good launcher is one that uses minimal memory and is very effective and fast. Ive tried most and i can advice that the best i found was Nova Launcher.
I tried the new android launcher released by nokia called Z Launcher, but its minimalistic design was just too much for my liking. Try nova launcher. It gives your device a stock android feel.

ashu, 08 Dec 2014The worst phone I ever purchased. first not an android phon... morethe phone might not have google play installed, but all the apps can be gotten from other repositories. Nokia store links up with other app stores like, slide-me, one mobile and aptoid appstore. Personally ive never lacked any app i want. I dont even miss google play :-)

panku, 08 Dec 2014is it possible update kitkat version on nokia xl. plz ... morethe phone comes with jelly bean installed. To upgrade to kitkat, either root (if you can) and install custom rom. However officially, nokia/microsoft have not talked of any coming upgrade to kitkat.

The worst phone I ever purchased. first not an android phone. never download any applications from google play store. Instead it connects to nokia store which has very limited aps. bluetooth works depends on the other phones. never connects to pc without nokia suite. even sometimes it never connects to pc even after nokia suite installed. Don't go for it. It is worst than 1000 rupees basic model phone.
