Is the main speaker better or worse than the cmf phone 1.

    Been using it on and off for about a month. Some opinions:

    It’s maxed out in height and width, with flat sides, making for a rather unpleasing grip when using it for a period of time. A big plus is that it's incredibly light for its size, like 40 grams lighter than an Apple Pro Max with similar dimensions. That gives it decent one-hand ability in terms of stabilizing it on your pinky finger etc But at least for me it’s too wide to comfortably reach across the screen with my thumb when I one-hand.

    It obviously does not have a premium feel, but it seems sturdy. The display looks good with high brightness and there are options to adjust the colors a bit. Nice even bezel. Not sure if it's the display, OS or skill issue on my part but the touchbar can be janky and I have to re-do swiping actions when I want to switch apps or open the app manager every now and then. Pretty nice and clean OS and if you opt out of the Nothing theme during setup it’s really a no-nonsense Android experience.

    I have not felt it warm up even once (no gaming though) and the battery life has been an easy 2 days per charge for my use case. The speaker sucks ass. The cameras are very mediocre outside of good natural sunlight; haven’t tested Gcam though. I don’t like the haptics and they are super loud, like I thought there was some type of sound setting I had on that made beeps during navigation and typing but it’s just the vibrations making noise.

    I got it at release with earpods, charging cable, pre-applied screen protector and a case, which makes the typical phone and cable only type purchases from larger brands just a bigger joke of a deal than it already has become. Both its pros and cons would be acceptable for my daily use case if it came in a smaller body so for now I think I’ll just toss it down my backpack for hikes or something. I appreciate what you can get for the price though!

      got a great design for what we are getting recently,
      screen is pretty nice, updates are on time as of now.
      Nothing OS looks clean and nice, feels limiting for customization but still is good enough.
      No bloat, battery lasts about 8-9hrs on casual use without gaming.
      temps are decent, camera feels okay for the prize nothing too crazy but videos turn out nice. 2x telephoto cam is nice

            The CMF phones definitely have there drawbacks ( mono speaker! for one) and I doubt many will really keep them for long , especially as most of the attachments you can buy for them are stupid .

I kinda like their products and philosophy as a whole. It's just that living in a $hit country such as iran ($hit economy too), you are much better off paying for the best specs (on paper at least)once, so that you don't have to do it again in the forseeable future (3-5 years. And it's due to having the bogger benchmark numbers, battery, faster storage etc)And sorry that I was rude in my last comment. It's quite understandable, willing to pay a few more bucks or ignoring those big numbers on paper to get a pure, bloat free experience on the go, no bs.
              Idk about banking stuff, but if you are still willing to use that CN ROM phone of yours as a secondary, I can send you quick guides for notifs problem and bloats too. takes few minutes of searching.

                I had a Chinese Rom phone once , and Google wallet and banking apps didn't work.
                It also had Chinese apps that I couldn't remove.
                I also kept getting notification in Chinese and I couldn't even change the launcher.
                I'm sorry but I would choose a global Rom phone any day over the Chinese version, but I respect your opinion .

You have to ask yourself "is there any other country in the world?" To begin with. Both iqoo z10 and neo10 support as many bands as there is, where I live for instance (middle east, google it:) ). Also xiaomi phones has litteraly zero ads here, since the CN ROM is an option for buying. And yeah they have google services. And no they are not region locked etc.. use your mind, or google, at least. But hey, you can attach a wallet to your phone if you spend 30 bucks more on that phone, not to mention that's for the 8/128 base model (Nothing/cmf definition if base model).

                    I have seen from couple YouTubers saying this charges very slow with charger from inside the box. Can anyone here confirm or deny that if u have the phone?

                      You have to ask yourself what would the true price of a xiaomi be without the adware, only then is it comparable .

                        I had the cmf phone 1, but hated the speaker because the bass muffled all the vocals to the point where the people didn't sound remotely like their normal voices (Will from gsmarena sounded like a robotic version of himself speaking through an old telephone ).

                        Can anyone tell me how bad the mono speaker is on the phone 2 , as there so many conflicting reviews.

                          At this price point, you can buy a turbo4 pro with glass and aluminium body and sd 8s gen4. Way better display and speakers too. There is also Iqoo z10.
                          It almost looks like Nothing fans love to get scammed..

                              Upgrading from a sturdy but older Moto G Power (2020), this checks most boxes except it lacks stereo speakers and OIS. The networking on this offers more US band compatibility than the 3a.

                                    The slimmish and even bezel on this big display is nice. It's actually a joke how many of the bigger brands puts a thick or uneven bezel on their "budget" models, as if it's this insane cost-cutting decision done in our favour.
