Nothing integrates ChatGPT into its phones with Nothing OS 2.5.5
Nothing Phone (2a) already received Nothing OS 2.5.5 with camera improvements, bug fixes and the April security patch and now the Nothing Phone (2), which you can purchase directly from Nothing, is also getting the new update with added integration to Open AI’s ChatGPT and a bevy of bug fixes and camera apps.
Nothing is bringing ChatGPT widget for quick access from the home screen as well as the option to quickly copy and paste screenshots and clipboard text into a new conversation in the ChatGPT app. You still need to download the ChatGPT app separately beforehand.
Nothing OS 2.5.5 with ChatGPT integration will also arrive to Nothing Phone (1) and Phone (2a), which you can buy direct from Nothing too, later this month. Nothing announced the ChatGPT integration will be available on the just-launched Ear and Ear (a) earbuds as well as all Nothing and CMF products in June.
Nothing OS 2.5.5 also brings Ultra XDR mode to the camera app, HDR switch for Photo and Portrait modes. Other highlights include Ring Mode in the Quick Settings for sound management, RAM Booster, new Recorder and Battery widgets. Nothing is also bringing enhancements to system stability, NFC, and Wi-Fi connectivity as well as optimizations to the volume settings, bug fixes and general performance enhancements.

ChatGPT Integration

- Added a new gesture option in Nothing X to start a voice conversation with ChatGPT for Nothing Ear & Nothing Ear (a). Coming soon to our other audio products.

- Added a button on the screenshot and clipboard pop-up to directly paste the content to a new conversation in ChatGPT.

- Within the camera app, Photo and Portrait Modes now feature an HDR switch. Activate or deactivate via the settings at the top.

- Addressed the disappearance of lock screen widgets after ending screen share in certain scenarios.
- Addressed abnormal lock screen wallpaper display when swiping-to-unlock is interrupted.
- Fixed a widget display issue which showed Bluetooth as being off when a watch was connected.
- Resolved frequent refreshing and flickering when setting Wi-Fi in the Quick Settings widget.

Who knows what is actually manufactured in india, atleast the body is possible. Too bad nothing wont actually tell what all are actually made in india. The only thing clear is battery is made in china.
