Would love to use this weird looking phone. I love the daring design but 6.5" ? I hope they make smaller ones too cos i got small hands and i hated using one phone with two hands 😂

The LEDs at the back for notifications, charging,call recording, camera, and so on would drain the battery so I see them as a gimmick rather seeing them as a appealing feature.
No powerful chipset , just 90hz refresh rate and the bezels does not seems to be outstanding .
Figer print sensor at side which is not a welcoming feature nowadays . Finally you will not place your phone with the screen downwards to showoff the led features ,too much hype for this one i guess

This is tech art. Nice Design, not the best specs, but something different to all the smartphones available yet. I like it. And I would even like it more, when the Android OS is really lean and fast. Let's see...

Weird, I remember the press conference showed the Nothing Phone's display as being curved. But this is okay, I like the design and the flat aluminum frame. Bezels could've have been thinner though.
However, I was expecting so much more from this phone, given how much Pei had hyped it.
When he said this phone will "be a breath of fresh air to the sleepy smartphone industry", I was expecting he'd bring back the headphone jack and microSD slot. Well, he did not. Clearly Pei had slept on this one too, because I see nothing that makes it different from the plethora of other smartphones (other than its design). Not even the price makes it stand out. It's honestly very underwhelming, 90hz instead of 120hz is subpar for 500 euros.
Also he said, "the most compelling alternative to Apple". I don't know about that...

benben, 22 Jun 2022you've gotta be kidding right? 90hz screen and no ois... more😁 old? Capacitive fingerprint are more new and advance than old optical sensors, just because its placed under display doesn't make sensor itself a new technology,
Optical sensor only captures 2d images of fingerprint whereas capacitive takes mapping of fingerprint in actual.

They'll probably use it to justify putting a ridiculously high price for the midrange that it is and say it's half the price of what it went for during the auction.
