              Anonymous, 09 Jul 2023 Nothing as usual.No improvements in camera - Nothing Phone 2 has the same Sony IMX890 main camera sensor as the OnePlus 11, it's a good smartphone sensor. The front selfie camera also upgraded from a 16MP sensor to a decent 32MP Sony IMX615 sensor. Plus the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 enables much greater camera image processing than the Nothing Phone 1.

                Looks really nice, nice SoC, OLED, design etc, but:
                >USB Type-C 2.0
                >33W wired charging
                >No 3.5mm HPJ
                >1080p *30fps* selfie

                Deal breaker for me in chronical order, especially USB 2.0.
                Why is it so hard to spend $5 on a USB 3.x port so people can get video out and good transfer speeds on a thing that costs less than ~1% of the phone's total price?
                It's the most backwards engineering shait I see on new phones these days, petty cost cutting corners.

                      I would be mob excited if it featured ESim.. this upgrade is just a New-Normal to other tech developers... 🫤🫤. Am stuck with ma NP1..

                        It is going to be more expensive than NP1 and we all know it because chipset, battery, cameras, display and everything else that we know so far has been improved. The question is: How much more expensive?!
                        I mean it already has two powerful and well priced rival (OPN3 &NEO7PRO) and Carl Pei already knows Indian people know what their spending their money on and so far OPN3 has been a great hit and is gonna sell a lot, so it's interesting to see the final price.

                                        Of course this will be expensive because it's too much hype, but at least the software is pretty good and fluid. Still it's 8+ gen 1 not 8 gen 2 and why don't they use dimension 9200+ to cut prices lower
