You have to wait some time to see actual responses from people who purchased and used the device. The first responses are mostly complaints from what they see on specs (Have not seen a single phone here in Gsmarena that doesn't reflect what I said)

Ironically, those who have a lot of complaints don’t even have the phone yet to judge it from first hand experience. Buy it, use it for a few days, then comment your opinions on it, otherwise, you don’t jump into conclusions.

There have got to be so many phones at that price with a 3.5mm jack and a microSD slot, and which come with a charger and a case. The "Nothingness" of Nothing fits well among flagships, but among midrangers...

Glass offers a balanced approach to them at a price and while it does crack, plastic and metal are bendable, leaving a possible dent upon impact (A tall fall can also crack low quality hard plastic). It simply boils down to the quality of the material.

Moki, 06 Mar 2024For people defending this phone. You either never seen any ... moreTwo words: Global Availability.
At least where i live, you cant get a Motorola phone officially. Whereas with Nothing ,i could walk to the nearby mall and snag one with or without contract. I would love to get the edge 40 or even a pixel 7A, but availability in stores and repair centers kinda make me prefer the Nothing but you are right, nothings being hella stingy.
You may be thinking, WHy NoT a XimI,ViVo,SAmSUNG, or others?
1. I do not trust any Xiaomi products at all (software and hardware)
2. I dont trust any of BBKS products and vivos as well (same reason as ximi)
3. I just dont like OneUI idk why but i just dont at all.
but ur opinion is valid

Shame you won't get one, which is where Nothing is being honest with their brand name, because that's exactly what you are getting. The Poco X6 Pro, the 2 Moto phones and even vivo includes a case. Not to mention they all come with a charger as well.
So anyways, if I'm really not bothered by not getting accessories in the box, tell me one good reason why I shouldn't just wait and get the Galaxy A55, or get the Galaxy A54 right now?

Their track record? I've been using vivo phones for years, durability is excellent. Either way that's not what I meant by build quality, but an all plastic phone will always feel always feel cheap, at least vivo gives you glass, while Moto either offers faux leather or gives you a case in the box, or both.

justasmile, 07 Mar 2024What’s the big deal of paying more for 256gb?Oh I don't know, maybe the fact that it costs a lot more? It's also not that easy to just pay more when it's a budget phone, if you only have enough spare money for the 128gb version then you aren't just getting less storage but also a worse device.

Moto Edge 40’s significantly better than that, but the screen is still most likely less scratch resistant than phone 2a too.

justasmile, 07 Mar 2024Well, what about this source then? https://www.thehindu.c... moreI've seen this one already as well, and I've also seen others that say UFS 2.2, it doesn't matter, I don't trust it one bit whatever storage type it has. Plus that's even worse if they give you UFS 3.1 on the 256gb model, but not on the 128gb model.
