Nothing Phone (2a) sales reach 100,000 units in first day

Nothing Phone (2a) debuted last week and went on sale on Tuesday, March 12. The day of sales was more than successful as the company sold 100,000 units on, revealed Carl Pei, Nothing CEO. The company pushed 60,000 of those in the first 60 minutes alone.

The Phone (2a) was launched as a more affordable alternative to the Phone (2) but came with plenty of features, borrowed from its mightier sibling, like a 6.7” OLED and dual 50 MP cameras on the back. The Glyph design is also present.

Nothing said the midranger comes with a custom-made Dimensity 7200 Pro that offers up to 10% more efficiency. In reality, it performed just like the Dimensity 7200 or Dimensity 7200 Ultra – after all, they all share the same 4nm silicone.

The Nothing Phone (2a) costs €329 in Continental Europe, £319 in the United Kingdom, and INR 23,999 in India. Users in the United States can get the midranger for $349 through a developer program, although the brand promised it would also approve non-devs.
