Nothing Phone (3a) series will use Snapdragon chipsets

Vlad, 13 February 2025

Nothing is announcing the Phone (3a) series on March 4, and today the brand has confirmed what has long been rumored: its next mid-rangers are using Snapdragon chipsets, switching over from the MediaTek SoCs used in last year's Phone (2a) and Phone (2a) Plus.

Nothing is expected to unveil two devices on March 4, the Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro. The Phone (3a) has been rumored to go with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC. It will allegedly have a 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with 120 Hz refresh rate, a triple rear camera setup (with a telephoto camera, a first for Nothing), and a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging. The two models could both be getting a camera button as well.

That esim is such a hassle and problem child in Germany.. might be only a local problem, but I can't think of a single reason to use it, provided all my phones had/have a support for dual sim..

If they include esim in it then they nailed it and can easily destroy their rival

I never had issues with either mediatek or exynos. The only issue I had with signal strength and reception quality was on an iPhone, after several updates within 1-1.5 years. Then i banned that vendor from entering my home.
