Nougat rollout for HTC 10 tipped to resume within three weeks
As you might already know, the HTC 10 Nougat update roll-out has been halted by the company due to some bugs. While HTC is yet to officially confirm when the roll-out will resume, tipster @LlabTooFeR has said that it will happen within 3 weeks.
The revelation was made in a tweet, which also said that the update will now include the Android security patch for the month of January as well.
HTC 10 (EU + carrier versions) to get Android N with January security patch within next 3 weeks. Relax and wait.

The tweet, however, makes it clear that the time-frame mentioned is only for the EU units (as well as carrier versions) of the phone, but it's reasonable to assume that other regions will also get it around the same time.

And yet, if they managed to release it without bugs, it would have been a whole month before Samsung. Pity they screwed it up but you can't blame them for being slow.

Yeah right! Either you work for Samsung, on a beta program or have a time machine. It wasn't officially released when you posted this.

That's the price you pay for a midrange phone. It's always been this way and is the same for all manufacturers. I also note that most people who put the hate on HTC are people from the US who have bought weird models forced on them by their car...
