NuAns' Kickstarter campaign for Win10-powered Neo fails to reach funding goal

Himanshu, 10 August, 2016

If you recall, the Windows 10-powered NuAns Neo was shown off in Japan late last year and debuted at CES in early 2016. In June, the company announced its plans for the device's global launch through a Kickstarter campaign that began July 1.

Sadly, the campaign has failed to reach its goal of $725,000. The Kickstarter page for the project reveals that it got only only 489 backers who pledged a total of only $142,368.

For the uninitiated, the Neo's selling point is the TWOTONE interchangeable covers for its back. As for specs, the phone is powered by a Snapdragon 617 SoC and sports a 5-inch HD display. It comes with 2GB/16GB memory configuration and 13MP/5MP camera combo, and packs in a 3,350mAh battery. There's also a USB Type-C port, and the handset offers support for Continuum as well.

So if it would be adjusted to "Your Liking" what could have they improved on? Let's say it would be re-released as a revamped version.
