The sim card holds 50 mssges but in the cocoon fone itself it has this,,,,,

So from this i conclude that the cocoon has 36 MB saved for messaging..

The main screen tells you album ,,singer playing now plus tells you last song and next song and has an eqaliser bouncing up and down,,genre of song,,how many star rating,,volume controls which is controlled by unique scroll wheel in hinge.You have playlists and last option is fm radio..WEn cocoon is in cradle you can listen to radio because its supplied with an aerial that plugs into cocoon cradle itself..
The charger is unlike ive seen before,,its solid white and you build it yourself for uk or euoropean plug then it powers cocoon or cradle via a usb jack in 240volt socket and other end goes into cocoon then that same end that plugs into charger "usb"pulls out and plugs into comp to exchange data,,really superb effort..

Advanced settings of high,medium and low quality,,3 shutter sound s with off,,option to save to memory card and timer sounds
Also in multimedia settings is MANAGE which contains format fone and format memory card plus ability to browse protected objects and V.O.D. settings..
The screen has daily wallpaper option so the wallpaper can change every day,12 hourly or hourly..7 briteness levels,,lcd timer levels and keypad timer levels i.e. 5,10,15 seconds etc up to 10 minutes...The external display has briteness settings for wen on battery or charging in cradle,,backlight timer,,scrolling speed and mssage preview on/off.
3g has gsm,,3g or dual mode its got time settings for other citys which like the samsung g600 can have dual times on screen plus increasing alarm tone.
their are 7 profiles fron normal to fligt mode plus the special cocoon mode which lets you go into your own world with no disturbance from any alarms.
YOU Can stiil listen to music if you want when answering a call it quietens it and sets it as background music,,
This is a review so far,,its a brilliant fone full of custmisation..music test coming shortly plus bedside alarm clock function cool or what

can you deactivate the menu on the main screen,all good so far,on charge but had a little mess about for 10 mins

have tried foning o2 but in a queue but want to ask has it gone down to £129.99 in shops.I am travelling to preston tommorow (friday)to an o2 shop to at least see it in flesh and if its not on offer in shop then will buy it online.Been all over forums reading up on the cocoon and even shiny shiny.com and all is good for what i want and very gadgety..

to belfast,,it seems like your friend has the problem recieving mms not your cocoon..she or he may have to manually d/load mms mssge ,,,can this person recieve an mms from other mobiles??
I am getting this fone friday because its unique just hope video is at least 15fps

I have had this phone for a few weeks now. Love it but just one problem with it. It is not sending mms. Is this something I am doing wrong ? It does come up on the recipients phone thst they have received a message but does not show the picture.

had it for a month. exchanging it for a different brand of phone. won't send mms, random letters and symbols appear on screen when typing a text (only intermittent problem. screen indicates a strong signal but it refuses to connect or receive incoming calls at least 50% of the time. speaker quality average at best. battery no more than adequate at 3 days minimal usage. real shame as it is aesthetically very appealing and has some quirky features - wanted to like it but it fails to fulfill basic functions!

Hi Guys, I read one comment about Napster music. The best way to sync music to the Cocoon is in Windows Media Player, if you've got version 11 you can drag and drop music from your library onto the phone and the phone will update the music library and take across any album covers.

i am not sure on any of dis, but i think u can use da camera as a webby, and da screen is made out of quite ard plastic, but if u lke it, y not just go nto 02, and hav a demo??

and the internal camera, can u use that to take pic of urself or just a webcam like SonyEricsson’s 3G phone?
what kind of material for the white part(external)?
what kinda material they used on internal screen?(soft plastic like motorola V3 or hard plastic?)
can u setup Gmail in the cell?
and when u browse the web by Cocoon, can u actually see other languages on it or it’s a mess?
coz im conparing this phone with SonyEricsson’s upcoming cell Z750i
Cocoon has AF and flash, 2GB built-in memo and plus, the DESIGN!!!

am currently using o2 xda 2. although itz a great gizmo but itz to big to carry aroung. now am opting for cocoon. can any one of the cocoon user tell me, will it be sensible to go for this gadget, and what is the cost and how user friendly and its perforance. where sud i buy this.
