bought phone yesterday£50 o2 shop..including docking station.. charger, car charger and software in the biggets oddest box ever(see it to believe it!)phone does exactly what it says on the label.. call,text wap and bluetooth,, no more no less.it is excellent! anyone happy with these features is in for a treat as battery lasts forever.terxting slightly slow but good big buttons for ease of use.wap is good although call volume seemed a little low. has external dedicated switch for vibrate silent or normal which is very useful.highly reccommended, still can't get over the low price!

i think its time the major mobile companys got there act together on battery performance and this o2 phone deals with that issue so hats of to o2

Does it sync with MS Outlook?
Any limit to the number of contacts it can store?
Can you send sms from the PC when the phone is connected to the PC via BT?

Newsflash: grown men don't want to listen to MP3s on their phone or text pictures to their mates. They have a proper stereo in the house and one in the car, and a real camera for taking decent pictures.
Nokia has nothing like this: it's like a 6310i (which would sell well if it was brought back - you can still pay more than this for a 2nd hand 6310i on eBay) with a colour screen & speakerphone: everything an adult needs, and none of the fripperies. Several Nokias might *look* the same, but they have more features and poorer battery life. Nokia's closest competitor is now the e50, but this is more complex and costs twice as much. I think this will sell well, though of course not to anyone who thinks of their phone as a status symbol (ie, kids).

6230i: a little bit old, not very long battery life but still closer to what you want. 6233: new phone replacing 6230i but battery life is a little bit worse

To Faisel: sorry but I would not have writen any comments before verifying the truth or possible answers. For sure, I am not perfect and I can have skipped the information... but I don't see a phone on Nokia's site that has: a simple interface for business & BT & battery life. What I see is complexity & BT & very low battery life (3 hours), or simplicity & no BT & low battery life (5 hours). If you see another model, I would be pleased to know about it. Thanks.

To rascal: Mate, Nokia was the first Manufacturer to make Low End phones and they are still in production AND you can buy one from any Retailer today! So get your facts right and don't say "I wish Nokia would make the same".

The phone is heavy and long(ish) because of the size of the battery. It isn’t possible to squeeze such a long stand-by time out of a tiny battery. O2 approached Nokia and asked permission to relaunch the 6310i but were refused. They have borrowed the chipset design, and come up with a 6310i ‘clone’. It is unlikely that Nokia will do anything similar as the potential market is very small compared to the global market Nokia traditionally competes in.

This is exactly waht I am looking for: simplicity, BT and battery life. Nothing else. Just hoping that Nokia will come with something similar... (because Nokia is Nokia).

oh....they give the 1600mah battery life...
how niceee....n i wish to get one...althought not much of function it build in
just little complan about the phone weight....121g? shouldn't o2 company their company light it a bit..(btw 80-100g)
n another thing is the lenght....11.7cm long is to long n compare with normal saiz of phone...
when it will sell in malaysia's market?

This phone is aimed at people who still cling to their Nokia 6310i. They’re people who aren’t interested in cameras, music players, radios, 3G or MMS. The idea is that this is a cheap business handset which will be used for voice and text only. It has Bluetooth so that it can be used in a car or as a modem but that’s it. The battery life is this phone’s USP; it is not supposed to be all things to all men.

WOW can you get any more simpler than this phone must of taken them 20 mins to think of all the functions they would cram in this phone
