i have found out who makes all the "x" range phones...if you go to www.google.co.uk and enter benq S80 then click on the first link then you will see that in fact the benq S80 is exactely the same as the o2 x4 and if u click on, other phones, or something to that affect, you will also find the 02 x1i in white or black and the o2 x2 and o2 x4 under different names so that is why o2 customer services have no idea about wat to do with the faults i the fones!!!

Use cardreader mode to upload, not sync mode.
Doorbell tone is present i believe not checked, but can be set as any tone or mp3.
Video can record all the time you have memory, so 64Mb card is a very long time, ~ 30 mins.

How long does it do videos for and how good is the MP3 player??

Hiya - Please could someone tell me how you upload MP3s onto the handset - I have been tyring for ages, but it keeps giving me the message in handset manager that it's 'not allowed' to upload the file, or words to that effect. Cheers!

yeh, i have the same phones code probele, if i enter the defalt it douse not work, and you dont have to have a min sd read to put mp3 on, you do it via the data cable

Really good phone, however when i try to set a new phonecode, the default code as it says in the manual 1234 is not working. No point ringing o2, as they know F all about their phones. Anyone else had this problem?

cool phone but am having issues with it. when i went to install the software from the cd it said 'error installing ikernel.exe...' mailed o2 they said to call helpline, did so and they suggested reboots pc etc and are sending me a new disk. also having probs with o2 active, maybe they should just send me a new phone!
but anyway i still love the phone, big improvment on some of the o3 downfalls.

the mp3 player is good, skiping throw the songs when you have a lot on there is a bit of a hassle but ok, and you cane use mp3's as ringtones, and you store the mp3's on the cards, so if your gona use then your gona need a new card

Hello. I'm thinking about getting this phone and was wondering how it handles the MP3 features.
I assume it can use MP3s as ringtones correct? (no website i've reasearched actually STATED this.) Also. It stores the MP3 ringtones on the card? or on the phone itself?

Nice phone, I was pleased to get it, sheap too, if you buy a 512 minisd from ebay (£30) you can watch full length films...

this fone is a fab fone but i do actually prefer the O2 X2 so if i was you i wunt gt this 1 cus its faulty and wen i charged it bout 3 wks ago it smelt nasty and sort of luked as if it had melted it was a nasty luk so sry O2 lv ya ppl XxXxXxXxXxX

Y dnt O2 just cut to the chase??? they r obviously dieing to bump out Bluetooth so y dnt they!? would have bought fone if with bluetooth! O2 i hope you read this n rite down the hints!! BLUETOOTH big enuf?
