XDA will not display the name if the contact is saved on the sim card and not on the phone memory. so the contact should be saved on the phone memory for the name to show up. To transfer the contact from sim to phone, follow this simple step:

go to SIM manager, long tap the contact you wish to transfer, then tap "save to contacts" then it should be ok by then

O2 is a sick company.Their customer service is pathetic and management is anti-people. I called up their customer service and the Sheila i was speakin to had no clue what i was talkin about, she couldnt understand my aussie accent!!! and said she was stressed becos she got no break since Christmas,is that my fault????. Then i emailed to their online department which was some call centre in Pakistan where the guy wrote a mucked up horrendeus email with all english tossed with commas and semi colons all over the place.

It was horible, and anyway O2 is not a great firm. Their free texts never get through. The coverage is dodgy when you are in the leak.Their Bolt Ons are all mashed up and they have Promotions which are valid only for 24 hours [ what sort of Promotion is that!!!!!! ]

I personally beleive that O2 needs to work hard to retain a good customer base if it wants to set up its shop in Australia. Or else it could do well setting up a wireless network in Afghsnsitan.
