rustyhelm, 03 Nov 2008I've found out that the phone still able to receive call/sm... moreAnother way to 'save' the batt while using it, is ti disable its always on infra red (receive conn only).
Start>Settings>Connections>Beam>untick the 'Receive all incoming beams'>OK.
On it (tick) only when you wanted to use it.
Hope this helps.
I'm using iPaq rw6828 which is functionally identical to this.

-set auto switch off if not use after 1 min (battery advanced setting).
-At wireless manager, check to ensure wifi-off, bluetooth-off, Phone-On.
-Switch off the phone or let it auto swich off after 1 min.
This will save battery life.

shantle, 07 Oct 2008im planning to buy a pda with this model but i am not sure ... morehi shantle. yes it comes with a keyboard but the phone is a bit big as it is already that's why i never brought the keyboard with my phone.

I'm a first timer user of O2 xda atom. How come I dont hear any sounds when someone sent me sms? And is there a way to set my message alert? Ive been using cellphone for so many years now and Im really that good on this device. Help please!

Pls help me.. I have an o2 atom pure.. its working perfectly. Until one day, i cannot receive or make any text and calls. It appears on the screen NO SERVICE frm my provider. I've tried to Hard reset my O2 but its still the same. I've even tried to insert my sim to other phone. but the sim has no prob it works on other phone.
