I just bought an unlocked O2 EDA Exec: I took it to ATT yesterday to get a sim card and turn on cellular and data service. After she removed the battery and put the SIM card in - now all get is a blank WHITE screen. After we did a soft reset to no avail - I took the SIM card back out and switched out the battery for another which is charging now. I still don't see anything coming up on the screen like before. Does anyone know what a blank white screen means? HELP!

hi,i bought xda exec 2 month before.i like it very much.im haveing problem with window media player.when i play any video song or any clip on it .it does not work properly while playing song on a full screen. plz guide me what to do?

I've an O2 Xda Exec. I upgrade it's rom, means window mobile 5 to window 6. now i'm facing two probs
1. the software is unable to read the Battery status.
2. M/Card (SD Card) is not working, bcs of low battery level.
device charged the battery and it gave me proper back up. but always shows zero level.
pl suggest anyone,

hi. i am also using o2 xda exec. its touch screen is not working. i did a hard reset and the first screen of setup came and the message is diplayed "Tap the screen to set up your Windows Mobile-based device." as touch screen is not working how should i tap it. can anyone please help me. (touch screen not working). Thanks in advance

Hi,
I bought O2 xda exec two weeks back,its having problem in detecting SIM,
and this problem is not very consistant, sometimes it works fine
I tried following things
1. I adjusted the SIM connectors
2. I changed the SIM in order to make sure that the problem is not with SIM
3. I upgraded ROM as well as installed WM6, it starts working when I upgrade ROM but stops after some time.
4. I tried switching flight-mode on and off, again it works for some time and stops again.
5. I even tried putting some paper behind the SIM to tighten it, sometime this technique works sometimes not.
So till this point I am not clear that this problem is mechanical(SIM socket)problem or software problem.
I think Yoni can help me as he had same problem.

Could you please let us know how did you update your phone to WM6? Is WM6 commercially available, and from where?

if u failed to retreived ur yahoo, make sure it registered at co.uk yahoo.other cannot. and set at yahoo mail option to enable pop3 retrieval.good luck

Windows mobile 6 on this device is amazing!Very responsive indeed,infact it's like having a new pda.Now I have no need to waste cash on a new pocket pc/phone.WM6 rocks.

To EZE NWOSU: just make sure you have set all configurations correct in your o2 xda and you should have a WI-FI/WLAN connections to perform those operations completely running. good luck!

sorry guys its me again...i can pop up my hot mail message on my o2 xda exec, but when i configure and try to pop my yahoo, it keeps asking my to put my username,password and domain name...the domain name i don't know..please help me out anyone

How do I increase the RAM? If I use the SD card, how do I use that as RAM?

Same hardware as my XDA-IIi however slower OS, too big, low battery time, making phone calls is a hassle.

Hi friends,
I am using this phone for last 3 months. But now all of a sudden, when i make this phone on, it gets hanged, Its getting connected with computer, but there is no result in it when i make it reset. Kindly sort this problem out.

had a xda for a few months now with no problem untill now.. when i connect to the internet which was fine until the other day, now a message pops up & reads, The page cannot be found. check the name and try again.can anyone please help! cheers Rich
