My Graphite is going back...
I have not yet found a phone that can send me a file via Bluetooth - they all get the message "connection failed"
The O2 headset I got too has trouble with the phone. I pair it, and it works for a while. After 10+ mins I press the "talk" button on the headset, and I no longer get the "say command" prompt. I have to reboot the phone to get it to work again.
Also WiFi. I have an Access Point, which the phone will not work with - always complains about lack of signal strength, even if I stand on top of the Access Point! My PSP works fine with the AP!
Also - texting, sometimes the space button decides not to bother working.
All a bit sad really.
Gonna try the N73. I know this has problems too, but may as well give it a go.

God I wish I had read this before committing to the XDA Graphite!!
All the problems mentioned previously seem to apply to my phone too (particularly battery, connections, picture messaging etc).
I previously had the O2 XDA mini S which was a great phone, but too bulky. I was expecting the Graphite to be more powerful and a better size for everyday use.
My advice would be to STAY AWAY FROM THIS PHONE!!

I had been using this phone since Feb 2007. bought mine in Singapore. I am satisified with the phone...battery is good even after playing a full 2-hour movie. pictures taken from it's camera are excellent, reception is ok...i;m satisfied except for it's soft sound while playing mp3's...

Poor signal reception and very poor battery life. Software management is also very limited and poor. Did not meet high expectation from an O2 phone. Could have done better. Very disappointed after using the O2 Mini!

Terrible phone, worst i've owned to date. Similar problems to everyone else, poor battery, weak phone signal, takes an age to pick up a dropped phone signal, hangs, Wi-fi seems to only register 2bars of signal strength regardless of being close to transmitter, rarely able to browse using wi-fi, screen now has black marks over the middle where lcd has failed, A2DP only transmits in MONO to stereo BT headset, screen unreadable in outside daylight.
On the plus side, it is light and when it works the call voice quality is clear.
I can't believe that with all these complaints, the phone is averaging an 8.4 score!
DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE, IT IS RUBBISH.

im the O2 Phones Mania...tru my experience using all the O2 models, i can only comment that only 2 models are not satisfying me. they r Xda Stealth and Graphite. especially xda graphite, it has bad signal reception, poor battery life, often to hang without any reason hence i need to put off the battery many times.

The phone is dreadful. Sure, it's a powerful PDA features, 3G and small / light. it ends there. battery life poor. a day at best with moderate use. lose signal and you have to power cycle for a reconnect. mid way through a call it'll freeze and you have to pop the battery. I miss calls too cos the ring volume is very quiet - calls on speaker are too quiet. camera is 2Mg but fuzzy in all but the brightest of days.
Screen brightness is limited to dull grey days or indoors. if the sun comes out you're screwed.
It needs more volume, a firmware improvement to address the coms reconnect issue after poor signal return.
buy this phone again no way
recommend it to others - sure... NOT!

this a warning to all those who are planning to buy o2 devices in the future! beware!
I am from India. I was happy using O2 phones such as the XDA II and the Atom so I decided to go in for another. I purchased an O2 XDA Stealth on Feb 12th 2007 and had immediately regretted the decision as I started facing a hell lot of problems in the device. Almost after a month of correspondence with O2 they sent me a replacement handset. I was happy until i opened the new unit. It had the same problems and some new. Again after long talks with O2 (Mr Keanu) they sent me another replacement promising me that this would work but it did not. Naturally I was very angry and frustrated. At this stage I ahd lost all faith in the Stealth and demanded O2 to give me some other handset for all the inconvienience that I have faced . After a series of talks with O2 Singapore(Mr Keanu) I received an Atom Exec. But my problems worsened! After a couple of days the Exec "died" ie it would not charge. when the charger was connected it would show full battery and when disconnected it would switch off and not switch on for days. Highly annoyed and frustrated I began my talks again with O2 and at the same time bought the O2 Zinc. That was another error from my side as the Zinc also had problems. Its indicator LED malfunctioned and the microphone gave out static. Those were horrible times for me having two defective handsets. O2 finally agreed to replace both these handsets and they did. So I have already used 3 Stealths, 2 Atom Execs and 2 Zincs. That adds up to 7 O2 phones in about five and a half months!!!
Well things dont end here. once again I am having problems with the Zinc such as the LED is malfunctioning, the speaker switches on automatically when a call is made, the speaker dies out, screen freezes..etc..
So to all those who are planning on investing their money on an O2 device please do not as the quality of O2 devices is degrading day by day and is no longer dependable as it once upon a time was.
if any of you want to know bout the problems i faced in these many devices please contact me on

I have this phone and initially the battery life was terrible. Most handsets these days do not need the 24 hour charge before you use it, but this phone does. if you give it a good 24 hour charge it will last for days with no issues. Apart from that a little awkward to use for anyone moving from a standard handset but functionality is great.

this phone is aweful, our company inflicted them on us. Im going as far to say I am now going to spend my own money on getting another phone rather than put up with this piece of junk.
DO NOT BUY THIS FONE FOR ANY REASON
bad battery life (1day max)
bad reception
phone freezes for no reason, fix by removing battery
in bad signal areas with no reception it reports reception, in areas with great reception it reports none and wont let you make calls.
your better off with 2 tin cans and a bit of rope
