re ringtones & MP3's as ringtones , I'm no expert (have JUST bought my o2 xda2 mini) - but in prepurchase research I discovered the following in other forums:

says a freeware patch is needed to enable use of mp3s as ringtones
Other discussions just say where to put/access the new ringtones:

hi just found this site and saw your post
just copy ur mp3 from storage card and paste into
file explorer/my device / windows/rings
once uve done that ull see it in the ringtone list when u go to select ringtone

heay all,
i had never used such a phn ever in my life n as i m a computer savy so it was nt at all difficult for me to understand the features but the only problem i m fasing is how to get a internet access..as i m using hutch cnctn n they dun hav a vry gud gprs facility..i tried but was nt happy with the services..pls help..(priyanka)

once my O2 XDA II mini had fall and lately i realized that it doesn't have any dialtone whenever i make a call& i cannot hear anything.but the person answering the call can hear me!what should i do?? tq

help!!! i just got my 02 mini but the instruction book is all in dutch. cant understand a thing. does ne noe where i can get the english version of it online or ne where?

Just hold the power button at the same time pressing to the litle hole at the low right corner using stylus.

Hi..I just bought my O2 mini yesterday and now i wanna find out whether I can use mp3 file as my ringtone, can i? What about the incoming instant messaging alert? If no, is there any software that can make mp3 as the ringtone? I believe everyone will agree if i say that this mini doesnt have WiFi connection, but is there any SD card combined with WiFi?? If yes, where can i buy it? I live my O2 mini so much for its powerful and "everything will do" capability. Thank you..

I download and installed a program (pocket nes)on my mini. But it was not working properly then i removed /uninstalled it. After that it still has an icon shows @ the program page. How to delete that icon ? Is anybody can help me please ?

After using it for 5 months the ringer and speakers conked off. The volume of the ring since the begining was not at all good. The instrument requires to be improved as far as the ringer and speakers are concerned. since last one week i am waiting for replacement of spares which are out of stock.

whatever you want to do with the "mini", do not upgrade the new rom version, may 2005!!!!

Hi,
Kindly tell me how to turn off 02 XDA II totally cause's I want to remove the battery or Sim card?
I heard that when you remove the cover, the 02XDAII will turn off automatically? is that right?

Cooles device I ever had. I have a problem that "Just after 4 rings to diverts the caller into voice message" !!! But this is not the case if use the same SIM card in my old Nokia Phone!! Please help.

There is sound and video mismatach when video is shot. And at times the video quality is also bad.

Hi There,
A friend gave me a Chinese version of O2 XDA II mini/Imate Jam. The problem is, the entire operating system is in Chinese. Is there anyway that I can change it into an English operating system? Happy to buy a new operating system if I have too!
