Mine blew in a fortnight. Screen fried and had to be returned. It's clunky and heavy, and I had the same problems with low volume on outgoing voice and phone hanging. When it works, it's brilliant. But it's a very delicate brick....

Hi to all.,
I read your comments about XDA IIs and particulary the downsides made me worry and feared to buy one which I supposed to do within a week. Really such problems occured with this PDA/Phone?.I'm from Germany and here XDA IIs named as XDA III (without camera). I'm in dilemma to buy this phone. So could you please anyone truly suggest me, whether to buy or not?. I'll be grateful to you.
You can also mail me.
Thanks.,
Lisa

Its got a horrible screen man. i bought this becoz my partner has 7710 and he complaints of it being slow. But this phone comes out to be worse.
for no reason it just hangs. i have to reset it.
after clicking a picture, if i dial a number, the phone wont respond for 6 seconds.
And its screen is pathetic. If you are looking at a black and blue image on the phone, you can see the pixels clearly.
On the 7710 i never noticed pixels.
Cam is useless at night. I should have waited for something better.
I hate my partner, he said 7710 is slow and bad, i think its better than this.
All phones are bad.
Money wasted.

how about the other functions? like office tools? I need to buy the PDA 'coz I need a 'thing' that's lighter and smaller than Notebook. Oh and one more question, is this PDA made in UK/Taiwan/China? 'coz the manufacturer is the same as HTC right? Thanks.

Due to the posting rules I will have to refrain from foul language and appear as polite as possible when making comments on my recently purchased O2 XDA2s.
Therefore I would just like to say that this PDA is one of the most useless pieces of equipment I have ever had. Apart from the fact that I have to reset/boot it on a very regular basis often loosing all my data it is also a useless mobile phone!
I would advise you not to get one at any price. An abacus would be far more sensible purchase.

This phone is proving almost too difficult to use. In fact I don't think there's a phone in there at all. You certainly can't make a call in a timely manner, it freezes for no reason and I still can't figure out how to save an incoming number! On top of that it's like hanging onto a bar of soap and takes all your concentration no to press keys in error. This looked ideal at the start, but is far from it. Better software that doesn't jam up would help. Hopefully that will happen shortly. Out of 10? I've give it 8/10 on the web/email side of things, but 4/10 as a phone.

This has to be worst XDA that I've ever had. Sticking buttons, freezing programs and cr*p performance. Other users have had the same problems.
The designers spent far too much time on the keyboard that I never use and not enough on the phone. I never had this much bother with my XDA nor XDAII.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
