Well,i got da MDA a few days ago,its da T-mobile version,is a brilliant phone, but there are some things dat ain't functional with da phone like:
Its got a media player 4 mp3 tracks right, but what they didn't figure intigratin with da external phone features are basic control like stop, play,FF,RR when u wanna skip tracks,i thot the joy-pad was gonna double up for that but NOOOOOO u gotta take the phone out of its case, then da pen, then work ur way thru 2 the media player....HOW SAD!!!!!!!

Secondly, all phones that i kno got a keypad lock, but dis don't,soo u hear ur phone actin up with different menues

Lastly,i can't find the unlockin code for it,cos i tend to travel alot, soo its not much use if i can't swap sims where am at
Bottom line,i still like it like WOW!!!,sounds sad right

Yes....To the few that have been giving the thumbs down to this phone because of the BT problems, the patch is out and fixes those issues. All phones, computers, pocket pc's, palm's, etc....have problems when they first come out. If you buy a device when it first hits the market you must understand that there will be problems and that you need to relax and update as the patches come out. Don't knock this device! It's abosolutely great. I surf on the train to and from work, get my corporate email, place phone calls (to whoever said the call quality sucked, simply not true for my phone), play games, and listen to my music. I couldn't be happier!

My advice to all potential buyers for this and any other PPC, "You must be willing to tinker, reload, and reboot". What that means is that this device while it is a phone, isn't just a phone. So if you have problems loading software on your home computer or fixing your home computer, then I suggest you buy a Samsung phone and learn to install ringtones. It's not meant for the technically challanged.

The problem with O2 Xda IIs' bluetooth can now be rectified by patching/upgrading its system. The patch can be found in www.myxda.com....ofcourse, you have to register first. My bluetooth is now working fine from build 1900 to 3500.

Wifi works only 5 feet then its out of range.
                              Audio Discusting.
                              BlueTooth Garbage.
I'm returning the phone and maybe wait for III to come out.

                                1. Due to position of mic your voice sometimes fades in and out to the person on the other line or sounds like an echo. Never had this problem with the xda 2
                                2. Bluetooth dial up networking services are missing so if you search for available services on another bt phone it will never identify dial up networking (although this is clearly documented in the manual and worked without problem on the xda 2). Therefore at the moment you cannot use the xda 2s as a straightforward pda using a bt connection from a bluetooth enabled phone.
                                3. When you have a bt headset connected it will keep turning the xda on
                                4. Audio is really bad, Lots of other end Echo! And sounds like the RF is going true the unit. Sounds like a bee in the background.
I'm not the only one one with these problems.
I'll be going back to my P910a Its awsom.

I think of change to XDA II for a year ....now XDA IIs!!! Ai...the major concern still the processor speed! 400MHz is O.K., but understand that Intel is develop for >600MHz processor target for PDA or smartphone gadgets. Hmm...wait for that, keep my P900 running! The good points of XDA IIs is it's OS..MS mobile 2nd edition & increased RAM + great design. The remain...i think is almost same as XDA II.

One company made this mobile phone known elsewhere as T-Mobile MDA III or O2 Xda IIs, i-mate PDA2k, SIEMENS SX66 (HTC Made).
