hi, ive been looking at the xda and i read a review and i saw the uninstall screen, there are three options : basic, corparate and personal. i dont like the menu screen and there are the three options and the guy who reviewed it didnt say what he had chosen... with corparate it said before you choose it you should consult your IT manager for this as you dont get any GPRS settings or anything else, what do you get, if anything and how do you uninstall the o2 programs if i have to.
please email me or add my IM and tell me then its Brodyd@hotmail.co.uk and my email adress is above!! thanks !

For those still struggling to get the text message notification to work, it's all in the file naming. Don't have any spaces or capital letters (keep it simple!) and put the wav in the windows directory of the phone and it should appear in the list in the notifications settings area.

The worst piece of technology i have ever seen. O2 should not be selling pocket pcs because they cannot make them. I had 3 xda orbits replaced with same fault and gave up and got the mini s and this doesnt work either as specified. i have now given up. xda mini s: alarms and reminders do not work. the only time that the alarm works is when you switch the phone on - it then continually sounds the alarm for at least 15 minutes while it tries to work out what it is supposed to be doing. this happens EVERY time you switch the phone off and then turn it on. xda orbit: all 3 xda orbits ceased to work after switching off. could not boot up. only solution: restore to factory settings and lose all phone numbers etc which take hours to reload one at a time unless you use a pc to load them up. not to mention all the settings and preferences you have selected are then lost. a complete time waster. note that this happens EVERY time xda orbit is switched off so dont let the battery run low whatever you do. intenet does completely work on either phone

Best phone I have ever owned. Reliable, light and easy to get on with. Only downside is the loose fitting of the styli...I've lost 3 since I got mine.

I am thinking of buying this phone. Any comments on usability, I want to pick up email on the go as I work remotely from the office base most of the time. Also is the battery wear/lifetime good as I'm also on the phone lots! Thanks for any comments.

To change the text sound you need to make the sound you want in to a .wav format which are alot bigger than mp3 so lower the quality if you can, then drag your sound to the phones windows folder and it will apear in the text list, i am now on a graphite and cant find away to alter either the text or ring tone :s
