Very disappointed with the change from Stella to Serra… very much a downgrade! The Serra is painfully slow and isn’t nearly as user friendly – someone at HTC or O2 had their head stuck so far up their arse/ass on this one that it is difficult to understand how they managed to find their way into work. Have been a loyal XDA user for years, but will go with Iphone next time… now that Apple have solved ‘cut & paste’ issue etc.

L Palmer, 26 Apr 2009I have just had to upgrade from an XDA Stellar to the Serra... moreYes, I agree - same here. Very disappointed with the change from Stella to Serra… very much a downgrade! I have just had to upgrade from an XDA Stellar to the Serra. I have found it to be one of the most unusable phones I have ever had. Be warned of very slow software and an interface that is trying to ape an iphone and fails miserably. Why cant the phones still have a start key? all in all a bad experience.

Yes this is a rebranded HTC touch pro, even the system infomation in the menu on the phone say property of HTC!!! The only difference is the menu colour - mine is blue because it is O2. They keys have a blue number scheme and HTC have green. The menus are the same just the logos are different. I have one and have held a htc touch pro and they are the same phone. even the specs are same and manuals that come with are o2 but the coppyright stuff belons to HTC... go figure
Very good phone, the crseen protector can impair thr touch screen sensitivity and it can at time hang on a screen but it basically a mini pc/phone.
more chunky tha the Ignito but the slide out key is very sturdy (high hth quality) and makes up for the extra size. All 02 stores have them on diplay but you will be lucky to get one- not becuase they sold out but they do not have any stock, shame really as this is a high quality phone.

HTC is a worldwide brand which mainly ships in far east, america, middle east and europe. This is the uk equivalent. Very very few providers stock HTC in the uk, which is why if you ACTUALLY look o2, vodafone, orange etc all have the same phones just different names....
In fact I just found this - WITHIN this website so read and try to understand:

So stop your unknowledgable rambling for everyones sake..... thanks
