O2 Trion battery standby time spec at 300hr and the similar Dopod 838 Pro spec it at 220hr, and HTC TyTn spec it 200hr, is O2 spec cfm correct? Thanks.

some more q's...the headphones sound...can it be comared wid SE walkman phone headset?!?! and he battery life...i hv k-jam.battery is good...and the camera. wat is tht 2 mp wid macro?wat is macro?is it auto focous or somethin else?thnkx again...after these answers i will decide to buy one...

I just want to ask you guys if you have any idea regarding the usage of 4Gigaytes micro SD in my Trion? Can the Trion maximize it's use of micro SD card up to 4Gigabytes?

Hi guys
I bought O2 Trion 2 days ago and I found out that all the user guide are in Germany. After that, I found out that HTC is the real manufacturer. You can go to this site for ROM extend, user manual and some helpful programs for your pocket PC:

The speakerphone is good, No it does not have radio, it can play MP3's, Skype not a problem either which are the nicest features I like. Add a 1Gb Micro slot card, and you can record up to 5 minutes of video. The 2MP camera is very good!

Looking at the Dopod 838Pro but I live in Australia and there appears to be a hold up on delivery. Just got told the new devlivery date of mid Nov, from the original early Oct. Major bummer as I have already ordered the Dopod (but can cancel). Need some advice on a couple of things. First the camera, the Dopod gets great reviews but there seems to be some dodgy comments about the JasJams camera. Are they the same!?
Second, the Dopod advertises 11g but the JasJam says 11b/g with reviews saying the JasJams real speed is 11b!? Is this the same for both or does the Dopod have real 11g?
Thanks and by the way the JasJam is available in Australia. Good to see we are not totally left behind.

Hi M,
That's interesting news, I've been chasing o2 UK for some time on the same matter and have been getting no where fast. Your comment about HTC dropping partnership with o2 UK is interesting, as if you notice o2 will soon launch the o2 Cosmo which is 'ditto' HTC S620 !!!
So if what you have been advised is correct then why are HTC involved on this one(which is later model)but not the Trion???.......I feel that you were advised wrongly or maybe it's wishfull thinking on my part.

Unfortunately, it transpires O2 trion will not be released in UK due to HTC droping its O2 partnership... Anyone with more/ different news ??

This is an attractive phone with a good host of features, but here are my following questions: 1) How secure is it to store sensitive information? 2) How's the video and camera shots when using the 2 megapixel camera? 3) How's the voice/sound quality when using the phone?

Samsung Processor is actually based on ARM so i guess any applications developed for ARM should suitable. So, far i have installed these applications on my HTC TyTN (which is similar to O2 XDA Trion and Dopod 838Pro) and there is no problem at all.
Only Dopod 838Pro and HTC TyTN are available now in Brunei... they are similar to 02 XDA Trion. I got mine for B$1388 only...

hey guys, im in the market for a PPC. I was wondering, will the Samsung processor on this baby have problems with applications meant for the ARM or XSCALE processor based PPC's? Also, comparing this and the JasJar, which is the best? because I feel that since im purchasing a device like this, I might as well buy the one with the most resources. I need abundant RAM and a high clock speed.

Is it available in Brunei now? How is it compare to Dopod 838 Pro? Cos the Dopod 818 crashes quite numerous times and you can't even switch it off when it crashes.
