hi sheila,
we have the same problem, i guess.i can't also change my message alert tone into mp3 or wave tones.only the incoming calls can be formatted into mp3 or wave tones.

I just bought this handphone, it was great!!!But I have a little problem with this phone...I can't change my music, into the message tone alert...Is it possible to chenge any music into a message alert or just a few type of music(I mean like only wav, mp3)?

Fantastic Phone......I did have a few problems with the device earlier....but after updating it with the latest ROM, it works like a breeze now !!! Its by far the best utility phone in the market......

Hi irresistable, I’ve been trying your advise but I cant really set my wave tones to become my message alert tone. I tried pasting the wav tone to the windows folder and not to its subfolders but when I browsed the sounds and notifications I still cant find the wav tone that I pasted, please help me with this. I have another question, how can I browse my globe wap using gprs? Thanks

EXCELLENT!!!! I have no problems at all with this ppc...its fast and smooth running..alot of my apllications r supported & run absolutely fine..few ppl never stop complaining but i think people like them are never satisfied..to set msg tones, only wave files can be used...paste the file (wav) in the "indows folder"..not in any sub folder but the windows folder itself..GET URSELF ONE!!!

This Phone is A Nice&Good Design,But Before i buy this Phone I hear from My Friend This Mobile is Very Good,But when i buy and i Used is BAD Then as 02 XDA ATOM EXEC

Reasonably good phone. Needs a better mp camera. Reception is not very good. When other phone get max reception in the lift, my Zinc only receive one or two bars. In fact, it is the same with my old Atom.

I wonder why O2 Zinc has not come out yet with a new ROM? What are O2 Zinc rom maker doing? Just sitting and hearing people complaining about this model? HELLO!!!!! Wake up!!!!

wait for the HTC Kaiser... that one makes me weak in the knees...much better than this thing. Asus is great at motherboards but certainly not as good as HTC...specifically the HTC Kaiser!!!

It is a fairly good phone whith some of the shortcommings like there is no facility for group messageing some times takes a long time to open an application. The only problem I face is how do I send the file via bluetooth. In the send option I am unable to find any bluetooth option to send. Could any body help m,e in this front.

The screen quality is good, maybe not the 16m nokia ones but still very clear and good. But the software is hopeless. in a span of one month i change three 02 zinc handsets. first set, the clock was not working and incoming and outgoing calls would be directed straight to the voice-mail. second unit same problem. third unit the clock was working but the calls were being routed to my voice mail and whenever i spoke in the speaker phone a veered screeching sound would be heard from it, i never could figure out why as ultimately i got tired of changing handsets every week, i returned tehs et back to O2.

hspda is not currently avail some networks are trialing this but the service is hit and miss
the zinc has been dropped by o2 and will not be released

Is this any software for this xda zinc to make it work in Canada. Toronto GTA Area. I have rogers deal but this system doesn't have any option for Canada Region at all. Just looking for any help if their is any?
