Tikki..... your so right about the X1 and X2. Im told that O2 have learned its lesson and have flogged to death the XM software to ensure the user experience is spot on... Time will tell.

the problem with these o2 phones is that they always seem to go wrong. for instance i bought the o2 x1 and it was an impressive phone for that time but it would always switch itself off even though it had full battery, send msgs to the wrong people even if it said it had sent it to the right person, and other stuff, the x2 which i have now is just as bad. i took it to the shop and the assistant said that theyve had alot of complaints like mine on the o2 phones, so perhaps the x3/x4 or xm will have faults too.

Dear Joe, when is said 1 mobile, i meant for o2. The phone may be fast but fast at doing what exactly. No need for personal attacks, moron.

XM is designed by a Danish designer, powered by Intel and manufactured by one of the largest EMS suppliers in the world.

FL Telecom did the design with support from Intel. Don't know who manufactures the product.

Never heard about FM Telecom. Is this the former Maxon Telecom Denmark? If FM Telecom is the Design House, who is the manufacturer?

sh i........ Your a headcase. The company is FL Telecom not FM Telecom. Like the last comment says.... get your info right.

si h.... Your homework is a little out of date. FL Telecom Mgmt team have taken 25+ products to market... not 1. You should reseach the history of the company before you make such false statements. Like you I have been on the FL Telecom introduction... the phone is way faster than any current model... do I assume you attended the meeting / intro to avoid having to work?

At o2, we've just had a presentation from FM Telecom, the developers of the XM. They are indeed scandinavian (from Denmark) and it is their first phone. It is due out this month but to be honest, there is not much to shout about, apart from the ease of use.

i read some where t3 mag or stuff that if the unit has a sdi/o slot then bluetooth can be added. This has been in the magazine and is very fast at what it does with the intel chip.it should go on sale early summer for £200 on prepay.I am starting to look at the smaller phone because these new ones are big (smartphones) and the ones ive had dont do that much more than a normal phone these days and am sure many never actually use the extra functions anyway

The phone actually is a Triband phone (900/1800/1900) so you can travel around the world with it.

SD cards come up to 1 GB (or is it 2 GB?). Do you realize that means some 300 mp3 tunes (or maybe 600) - in a phone! Why did I ever buy that Ipod ;-)

I thought my long search and patience had paid off! At last, a dinky, pretty, performing little phone - BUT STILL NO BLUETOOTH! When will someone realise that us ladies like our phones to be highly functional fashion accessories?! I will not change from O2 to another service provider, so I guess I must still play the waiting game!
