OnePlus 7T Pro hands-on review
Introduction
Two weeks after the launch of the OnePlus 7T, OnePlus has announced the 7T Pro. But while the OnePlus 7T features several key improvements over the four-month-old OnePlus 7, the 7T Pro is perhaps the smallest incremental update OnePlus has ever made since the original OnePlus 3T.
As you will see below, the list of changes is rather small, so we'll just discuss what is new here. For everything else, assume everything else is identical to the OnePlus 7 Pro.
OnePlus 7T Pro vs OnePlus 7 Pro
- Snapdragon 855+ vs. Snapdragon 855 chipset (CPU - 2.96GHz vs. 2.84GHz; GPU - 672MHz vs. 585MHz)
- Comes in a new hue - the brighter Haze Blue
- Ultra-wide camera allows for closeup shots in its new Macro mode
- Super slow-mo 720@960fps video recording (first OP phone to have that)
- Faster charging (Warp Charge 30T vs Warp Charge 30)
- Marginally larger battery (4085mAh vs 4000mAh)
Thanks to the recent update of the OnePlus 7 model, the 7T Pro will get some heavy competition from its own camp in the face of the OnePlus 7T.
The OnePlus 7T has a marginally smaller screen, but that makes it easier to handle. The display resolution is lower, storage is half that of the 7T Pro. And perhaps the biggest trade-off is the swap of the 3x telephoto camera for a 2x one. And, of course, there is a notch.
But when you factor in the fact that the 7T Pro is almost 200 euros more expensive than the OP 7T, you will quickly see how the 7T has its place under the sun.

Unboxing OnePlus 7T Pro
The first change you'll notice is just the packaging the new phone comes in. It has the same tall box as the OnePlus 7T with text written on it on the front. It's nice but we do think it's a bit wasteful, especially since it doesn't come with anything extra inside the box.

They could, but having this update gives them a more competitive edge against other manufacturers which have 855+ phone. Assuming 7T Pro is priced the same as 7 when it just came out.
