I hate OnePlus for one thing. They are not supporting their online services in my region UAE. They are focusing on India.

I will not buy OnePlus again until they support a lot of region.

          (1)Why aren't they giving 512Gb or 1Tb storage variants??!! 🙁🙄
          (2) Still a 1080p front camera video ? Why not 4k (or atleast 1440p)?
          (3) No one on this planet actually needs that 80Watt fast charging . We will happily wait for a few more minutes to get our phone charged instead killing the phone's battery in a year . Please don't be like other Chinese brands .
          (4) We didn't request OnePlus for that ColorOS on their upcoming phones . Please OnePlus , stick to OxygenOS .🙏
And lastly , let's hope this phone gets better cooling system and doesn't heat up quickly like other OnePlus phones .🤞

Win of the first place is DIMENSITY 9000.

            DIMENSITY 9000: Mediatek's 4 nm SoC overtakes Snapdragon 8 Gen1.

The new high-end chip from Mediatek delivers higher CPU performance and probably better efficiency than the competition from Qualcomm.

Victorkci, 07 Jan 2022What's the difference please and why do you prefer Oxy... moreOnePlus made a name from themselves many years ago by releasing a phone with a flagship chipset at an affordable mid range price, there wasn't much to be upset about at the time.

It ran Cyanogen Mod at the time, which was a partnership with what has now become Lineage. It was highly customisable and offered more features that users wanted without any unnecessary bloatware. Oxygen OS tries to keep to a similar ethic, but it's developed in house by OnePlus who hired a team to focus on features and optimise it for speed.

OPPO, which is under the same umbrella company as OnePlus use their own ColorOS, let's just say it's different and tailored more to the Chinese market so it won't be to everyone's taste.

Android in general has a lot of different options and OEMs like to customise their devices to create different and unique her experiences identifiable by their customers. Apple do this too and have a unified look across iOS.

Tony, 07 Jan 2022Still no expandable storage... Hard pass. This has been going away if not fully omitted on flagship phones. It prevents brands from selling you storage tiers.

I agree with though I can't have a phone without expandable storage. I like to store all kinds of files on my phones and enjoy that expandability.

Phoenix9, 07 Jan 2022Oxygen OS is a must, no need for Color OS.What's the difference please and why do you prefer Oxygen OS, educate me

MSK OnePlus, 05 Jan 2022I guess OnePlus should first fix the issues with 9 pro and ... moreWhat are you even talking about? I've had both the OnePlus 8 pro, and OnePlus 9 pro, and I've had the exact opposite experience. The batteries have been far superior to any other phone I've ever had, and especially the warp charge has been amazing. My phone charges from 0%-100% in less than 20 minutes, and after a year it still lasts me 2 days without charging. The OnePlus camera is only barely surpassed by the iphone camera, and is better than more or less all competitors. The screen is amazing, and OnePlus had 90hz screens long before it's competitors. The fingerprint sensor is also the best one I've ever tried. And I have the Samsung S20 and S21 as backup phones, but i prefer to use the OnePlus.
I don't know if you're paid to discredit OnePlus, or if you got a bad model or something, but you can't possibly have had the same phones as me.

I guess OnePlus should first fix the issues with 9 pro and if possible 8 pro instead of housing another heavily priced so called flagship. I used both 8 pro and 9 pro and so to say very much upset. both are priced heavily but lag low for flagships. Subpar battery performance, heavy and quick heating, both issues are really bothering and we cannot agree to not fixed after paying such a high price. But releasing a 10 pro is like cheating customers struggling with issues from previous versions.
