And perhaps more slippery too? In my opinion it does make the design look more sleek and make the bezels thinner though

Not very long time ago people believed Mediatek is crap now they are one of best chip makers.
Prove me wrong.
Um I am not gonna prove you wrong but all the mediatek chipset are a complete crap except the D9000/D9000+ you will see to that most android flagship phones are using Snapdragon chipsets because there are more reliable and previously mediatek chipset were using a boost on benchmark like the chipset's game performance was low but the benchmark performance was high and after that incident people just don't trust them anymore.

Top comparable chip from mediatek were a lot better than SD888 which could fry your phone and battery after a long time gaming seasions. Many SD8XX cpus were same starting with worst CPU ever made Snapdragon SD810.

you know what's funny, i like oneplus but my issue is if your making a flagship top of the line its upgraded and loaded to the max right ? , but the meme or trend I'm catching on to is you improve one thing and you downgrade to the other , for example rumour has it , selfie is 16mp SMH, oh fun fact many or some OnePlus models have 16mp WHY JUST WHY 10pro has it 32mp selfie but 10t lost its alert slider i mean i wouldn't call it a flag ship , if its not due to that one downgrade of a selfie shooter thus another thing that really annoys me is The T models Fantastic back then ABSOLUTE FLOP NOW ,so here's what they did " ok T models we will turn to Garbage and we will have a top tier model called a Pro or ULTRA", but upgraded on alert slider and larger tri cam thus Brand new performance chip anyways lemme know if you'd agree .
