Don't buy this phone if you are looking for stable and reliable software. The updates are delayed, there are lots of bugs, the camera software ignores OIS during recording, the camera jumps from high fps to low and high again when panning during video recording and the worst bug of all (introduced in Oxygen os 15) is that the notifications randomly disappear. With every update they are removing one feature for example they got rid of snoozing notifications. OnePlus says that they are actively listening to the community but in reality they have fingers stuck in their ears. If you will post your concerns in their Community app they will shadow ban you like me and you won't be able to log in.

Loving this phone, I've had it for about 6 months now, I'm currently running OxygenOS 15 and it works perfectly. Battery and charging are incredible, provided you use a SUPERVOOC/AIRVOOC adapter and cable to unlock the full 80W fast charging (or 100W in most markets) OnePlus' "Aqua touch" algorithm is quite useful, especially in the rain, as it allows you to use the phone essentially as you would if it were dry, until water starts to drip. The cameras have been great, the telephoto is the excellent, and has made almost all of my iPhone owning friends jealous, but the ultrawide and selfie cameras struggle in low/difficult lighting conditions. I would recommend going with the 13 just because of the IP68/9 certification amd the peace of mind that comes with it. Last thing, the dyna- Live Alerts look beautiful with the curved screen and I dont know why, it just feels so premium

Would 5G bands of indian variant work with carriers in UK and US?
If not, which are the 5G bands to look for to work with carriers. Medium spectrum not the low spectrum.
Thanks.

Anonymous, 17 Jan 2025The downgrade of the telephoto and ultra-wide is significan... moreYes. They cut corners in the camera department. I assume it's because of the new CPU which is expensive to buy. Let's hope that those who bought the 13, the camera shots get better through software updates.
The 12 is still an amazing phone.

Anonymous, 17 Jan 2025The downgrade of the telephoto and ultra-wide is significan... moreJust as usual, manufacturers adds and remove something making choices difficult.
It may be a good idea to sit back for a while and wait until they truly improve things overall.

Anosh, 17 Jan 2025Why do you think 13 is downgraded? The downgrade of the telephoto and ultra-wide is significant.
The telephoto can no longer take close-up shots, and the ultra-wide has a smaller sensor than the OP12's front camera. The image quality degradation is noticeable in dark places, It's essentially two cameras…
I was planning to upgrade to the 13 before the price went down, The downgrade was so big that I couldn't find anywhere else to buy a replacement🥹
I really liked the Telephoto Macro because of the beautiful bokeh, so it would be really tough to lose it.

A lot of people get brainwashed by that sort of mainstream tubers or whatever other things going on.
We need to have our own opinion and question things correctly before agreeing with others.

Slater1133, 28 Dec 2024I just noticed with WiFi off and totally on 4/5G occasional... moreThe thing is I get almost the same SoT with older phone with smaller battery capacity.
5~6 hrs (or maybe 7, and you are not playing games) is supposed to be good when this phone has big battery?
Something doesn't add up to me.
