OnePlus 12 gets stable Android 15 update globally
OnePlus only very recently launched the public open beta for OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15 for the OnePlus 12, and today it's already releasing the final stable version. That's some quick turnaround for sure.
The update is now rolling out globally, one week earlier than initially planned. The new build for Indian models is CPH2573_15.0.0.206(EX01), for North American devices it's CPH2583_15.0.0.205(EX01), and for those sold in Europe and elsewhere it's CPH2581_15.0.0.204(EX01). As usual with such releases, the update is going out in batches throughout this week.
The changelog is positively gigantic, please visit the Source linked below to see it in its entirety. We'll mention a new system graphics engine that powers rendering and animation ensuring smooth uninterrupted visuals even under strain, system-wide swipe consistency extended to third-party apps for a uniform scrolling experience, a redesigned Home screen with new icons, new themes, new floating window gestures, resizable Split View windows, separate Quick Settings and notification drawer, redesigned Quick Settings, and new wallpapers.
You may have noticed the absence of any mention of any AI features. Fret not, for they are coming, but, OnePlus says that in order "to provide the signature fast and smooth OnePlus experience, AI-related features are still being tested and will be gradually integrated in future versions by the end of this month". So basically, the company wanted to get this out as soon as possible, but that meant it wasn't able to properly test all of the AI stuff in time. Thus, the AI things are coming through an additional update or two.

This is true but if you use buttons as the navigation option instead of gestures then the lag isn't there. I understand though not everyone likes using buttons for navigation. On a side note overall very happy with the 15 update .
