OnePlus 12 reportedly coming with improved cameras

OnePlus 12 is expected to arrive at the end of this year, but it is never too early for spicy rumors fueled by a sprinkle of speculations from leaksters in China. The latest information suggests the new flagship will launch with a third-generation Snapdragon 8 chipset and will bring a 50 MP + 50 MP + 64 MP camera combination.

OnePlus 12 reportedly coming with improved cameras

According to the leakster, the main camera will have an IMX9 series sensor, which might be Sony's 1”-type IMX989. The ultra-wide-angle camera will also be 50 MP, while the lovely 32 MP IMX709 telephoto lens will make way for a 64 MP OV64B by OmniVision.

The capacity could be more than 5,000 mAh, but we believe it will remain the same, as it will reportedly launch with 150W fast charging. This isn’t the first OnePlus to support such fast rates, but we might finally see it in a true flagship. There’s also the question of whether fans of the brand in North America will get a taste of the triple-digit standard, as both the OnePlus 10 Pro and OnePlus 11 got downgraded.

The OnePlus 12 might get the same treatment, but as there is almost half a year until the official unveiling, it is way too early for anything but wishful thinking.
