kdss, 27 Feb 2025I was a die-hard fan of Xiaomi and Miui. Since Mi3. But yea... moreOnePlus feel more premium than Xiaomi in general, but I just haven't figured out if it's worth the price, guessing if I hesitate, I should hold on until I'm sure about it.

Anonymous, 26 Feb 2025Don't expect much from camera department from this pho... moreI have both Xiaomi 15 and OP13. I didn't expect the OP to be so close to the Xiaomi in low light, as I was considering the latter to be pretty good already. But OP is almost as good. Only in very dark environment outside the contrast is lower and details are slightly lower in some occasion (can be considered as negligible I must say), but they can be seen in all the picture where the Xiaomi is blurring on the edges (tested at night on buildings). I didn't really tested them outside in bright light as I will have to make my choice and give one back, but honestly a bit surprised by the OP!

For example, I put my phone in my pocket while going for exercise, and I never feel haptic when I receive msg, ending up opening the phone manually to see notifications later on.
I mean come on, why are the manufactures are going backward on haptic, I'm pretty sure it used to be better back in days.

therefore, 1+ needs to set the default video editing program better
the guy shouldn't make excuse such as the program was bad or so, it's 1+'s job to make is good by default

Tested quickly indoor, and I was surprised how well the OP is compared to the Xiaomi. I didn't expect the OP to be so close in low light. And taking pics of buildings at night, the Xiaomi is slightly better in terms of contrast but the OP is clean all over the lens where the Xiaomi tends to blur on the edges. I have to choose which one to keep, and it's hard! probably the Xiaomi will be more consistent in all pictures but damn, the OP can have so much details in the pictures!

phOneX, 26 Feb 2025Provide oneplus 13 review those who owning it :
1) Battery... more1) Battery life - One of the best. I charge my phone every 36 hours. The highest screen resolution, 120 hertz frequency, brightness at 70 percent, I do not use power saving modes. In 36 hours I have 7 hours and 30 minutes of SoT, of which an average of 30 minutes of calls and photos, 1 hour of games and about 6 hours of browsing and videos. My battery is 20-21 percent after 36 hours.
2) Display - Extremely satisfied, it is clearly visible and when sunlight falls on it, the touch responds instantly to touch. I am also super pleased with the option that in this cold weather I can use my phone with gloves. I tested the display even with water splashes - the touch works perfectly. I have no complaints. The ultrasonic fingerprint reader is incredible. In almost a month, not 1 misclick, it catches even on slightly dirty hands.
3) Speakers - Great speakers. I haven't turned them up more than 35-40 percent because the sound from them is quite loud and clear. Compared to the speakers on my old 1+ 10 Pro, it's light years ahead. You absolutely have to turn on Holo Audio from the settings - it takes the sound to a new level. I don't use headphones, so I can't tell you how things are there.
4) Haptics - I don't usually use it. But I tested it, because at the time the phone was released it was said to be the best. I dare say that it is really at an extremely high level. I ran the test several times and I have to admit that I was almost tempted not to stop it.
5) Camera - It depends on the person. Some like brighter photos, some like colder ones. I am one of the first. I don't like the dark photos of Pixel and Samsung, I prefer Hasselblad's color settings of 1+. However, in addition to the standard shooting mode, the phone also has Hasselblad's Master Mode, where the photos are with the real colors of the environment and are not "colored". Regarding the quality of the photos, I dare say that it is similar to the other flagships on the market. For me, only the Vivo X200 Pro is far ahead of the latest phone models on the market. The rest are almost equal for me. In some places one brand takes slightly better photos, in other places it is another brand. In general, I find a +/- 5 percent difference. Shooting moving objects is simply TOP, as well as neon lights at night. Regarding the video, there is much to be desired, I can't lie. In 99% of cases I only take photos and personally it's not a deal breaker for me. Not that the video is that bad in quality. But Vivo and iPhone are much better.
But it's best to see for yourself. Here's a link to a video with a blind test of the cameras of 1+13, 1+13R and iPhone 16 Pro Max. You can see for yourself and draw your own conclusions. Moreover, I think this test was done before the update of 1+, which they released to improve the camera's performance:

2 words about the operating system. I use the global version. I haven't used a phone with a faster operating system. I have a work Xiaomi Redmi and a Samsung S24+ and they seem to work like in slow motion.
And most importantly, this phone is a few hundred euros cheaper than its competitors. In terms of price/quality/software, for me it is the best on the market.
However, I don't see any point in changing the S24U. It is still one of the best phones on the market and you can safely use it for at least another 2 years. But you decide. :)

Houli, 19 Feb 2025The best smartphone on the planet right now. I have owned o... moreI don't think I've had as many phones...but other than that I do the same thing with buying... getting bored... then selling them! I just went through the Sony Xperia 1 VI, the Samsung Galaxy S24U, the ZTE Nubia RedMagic 10 Pro, and the Pixel 9 Pro XL! They all were great phones and worked without issue for me! I sold them all and bought the OnePlus 13 and I feel no need to change for several years now. This phone is smoother, and better in so many tangible, and even some intangible ways that if anyone is sitting on the fence then go ahead and jump off on the OnePlus side! YMMV

I heard camera and video quality is not upto mark compare to samsung / apple, but hope it is suffice to have good quality. If apple is 9 , oneplus I consider 7 out of 10? is that true??
Also heard oneplus videos not working in video editing software due to some format or codec issues? is that right?
I have s24u but I plan to change;
