I know how to do that, if the option you are talking about is turned off then it's the combination of power and the vol up button. But that's not what I was talking about, it completely denied to be shut down or restarted after that esim unavailability issue and I had to force restart the phone.

Best phone I've ever used, been enjoying it for about 3 months now. Not only is the hardware far superior to the S25 Ultra with more RAM, an IR blaster, far superior display with 10 bit native and Dolby Vision and far superior battery life/charging, it is much cheaper than other western flagships to the point that it makes them look like a joke.

Had to force restart by long pressing the power and vol up buttons and everything was fine afterwards. Maybe a huge bug, hopefully the log was sent to OnePlus.

You can simply hide it using a system-hide app, and the root will not be detected. It’s not the same as the old-fashioned root, I tell you. To me, it’s either you spend more on the official version or just accept the rooted OxygenOS from ColorOS.

Even rooted the KernelSu can be hide from the system and it passed all google play integrity with some modules. I highly recommend to root if you want to change your rom from ColorOs to Oxygen.

Anonymous, 28 Mar 2025You guessed it wrongI guessed it right. Currently OTA are not supported if you flash Chinese version with Oxygen OS. You will have to install the updates manually and for that you need to have a rooted phone.
