Using oneplus 13 1TB from 1 month
below are my review
PROS:
1) fast and smooth OS
2) good battery life
3) better haptics
4) alert slider is oneplus's brand
5) screen display is good
6) audio/speaker is good
7) better weight management on higher battery
8) IP69
CONS:
1) Camera at this range is ok (can't say still flagship level)
2) triprism instead periscope zoom ( only 3x)
3) weak glass protection
4) basic OS bugs
5) video quality is still average
6) at sunlight brightness goes very down (not much visible screen)

Sorry for asking you guys that my OnePlus 13 smartphone supports Wi-Fi 6E or not. I know as it supports Wi-Fi 7 so it has a backward compatibility with Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 6 and the older versions.

Let's ignore the fact that you don't have such a phone and have probably only seen pictures of it on the internet or at best for 10 minutes in a store.
What were the settings on this "almost always dimmed" display:
1) Automatic brightness or manual?
2) Was the eye-care setting enabled.
3) What was the color mode of the screen - natural, pro or bright? By default, it's natural and the screen is quite "limited" there.
4) Was the automatic color temperature adjustment to the environment active or not?
5) Was Night mode and sleep active?
Or did you just go into the store and click through the menus for 5 minutes?

Regarding the displays. My old phone is a 1+ 10Pro with an incredible Samsung display. The new one is the 1+ 13 with an incredible BoE display. At work I have the S24+ and the S25 Ultra at my disposal.
The 10 Pro and both Samsungs have slightly more saturated colors and brighter displays than the 1+ 13 at equal settings. Something like 5-7 percent. But that's where the good things about Samsung displays end, now I'll tell you about the good things about the 1+ 13 display:
The PWM frequency of the 1+ 13 display is ~ 4 times higher than the S25U. In case you don't know, the more, the better for the eyes. When I use the 1+ 10 Pro or one of the two Samsungs for work, at the end of the day I feel like I've been looking at car headlights all day - pain and red eyes. With the 1+ 13, this feeling is gone, thank God! And without having turned on a single setting for additional eye protection. My display is constantly at about 70 percent brightness.
1+13 display also has AquaTouch 2.0 - I've tried it with everything, in the rain, spilled water, soda, etc. - it's like you're pressing a perfectly clean and dry screen.
Working with gloves - perfect (There is a limit on the thickness of gloves, in case you don't know and try with 5cm thick ski ones)
Bonus info I'll give you about the Ultrasonic fingerprint reader - wet fingers, dirty, muddy, stained with food - in 3+ months I have about 3 missed unlocks, no matter how much I try to "fool" the reader. My S24+ is somewhere around 1/5 missed, with the S25U it's better than the S24+, but there's something to be desired.
The S25U has an anti-reflective coating on the display, which is good on paper, but in reality it's something of a gimmick. This is so for 2 reasons: 1 - any coating scratches/falls off. 2 - to "use" it you don't have to put a screen protector on it.

Now let's talk a little about how much the Samsung S25U is a flagship, and the 1+ 13 is not.
1) The Samsung takes 10-bit photos, but comes with an 8-bit display (UNIQUE!)
2) Cut Bluetooth functions on the pen.
3) MURA effect on the display, not as much as on the S24U, which is an improvement, but still...
4) Halo effect on the photos.
5) Banana Blur effect.
6) Only 12GB of RAM for such an expensive phone.
7) I won't comment on the night photos... As well as the color change when zooming in on a video. They cleaned it up more or less after a few camera updates.
8) Mediocre cooling system, leading to overheating and throttling.
9) Mediocre battery life when using mobile data, only 5.5 hours of SoT. (1+ 13 is 2 hours more)
10) Small battery and slow charging.
11) The "non-flagship" of 1+ 13 has a slider and IR.
And so on, but I don't bother to write more.
So tell me, which of all this justifies the 30 to 50 percent more expensive "super cool flagship" of Samsung?

kdss, 21 Apr 2025I'm still waiting for you to answer the question why, ... moreI'm using smartphones specifically form 2011 and in the past 14 years I used 12 smartphones but no OnePlus yet. The 1+ 13 looked promising and they are also confident about the green line issue so i wanted to give it a try. Moreover I used 3 flagship Samsung and I am too familiar with them, plus S25U costs 1.5 times in my country (may be everywhere). 1+13 is a good bang for the buck but the silly issues are annoying as it claims itself a flagship. You may not notice them because you don't seem to have an eye for that- given your attitude and background.

Otherwise, for me the overall package - price - hardware - software, better 1+13 over Honor. But this is just my opinion.
