Used a phone with a curved display like the oneplus 12 for 6 months and I often had unintentional input from the sides. Flat and microcurved is superior.

Aznag, 01 Nov 2024flat or curv?micro(2.5D) quad curve.. for better comparison as of now you can see reviews of Xiaomi 14/14 civi displays.. it's decent & feels premium. I am using 14 civi, and case comes protective on all sides unlike dual curved displays of previous generations. Gaming experience is good too.

To vic crying about Dimensions it's actually smaller then 12 compare them and you see the 13th is smaller in Dimensions.

a note for the battery description compare to other, it says Si/C 6000 mAh, non-removable
for the record, it just the Silicon-Based Anode Materials for Lithium-Ion Batteries. it still use lithium ion to store energy*. when you make comparison it says Si/C battery and Li-ion battery. but in reality it's not a alien technology.

With each iteration OnePlus phones become bigger and bigger. Now, it's almost as wide and bulky as huge Galaxy S24 Ultra. So, from now on OnePlus needs to supply not only a protective case in the box, but also a carrying bag to carry the phone around...
