OnePlus 13 to have an insane amount of memory
The OnePlus 13 is coming next month - to China at least, the international launch may take a while after that. We've heard quite a bit about it already, and today it's time to talk RAM.
According to the prolific and usually reliable Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the OnePlus 13 will go up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM. That matches the maximum amount offered by its predecessor, the OnePlus 12, and is unheard of in most of its competitors.
There's also some bad news. DCS estimates that the price of the OnePlus 13's top of the line configuration (the one with 24GB of RAM and presumably 1TB of storage) is estimated to grow compared to what the OnePlus 12 sold at with the same RAM/storage combo.
The OnePlus 13 will be the only phone to boast 24GB of RAM out of the first batch of new flagships coming in the next few weeks and months - the ones powered either by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset or MediaTek's Dimensity 9400.
The OnePlus 13 will have a 6,000 mAh battery with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging, according to past rumors. It will keep the vibration motor of the 12, as well as the main camera. The screen will be 6.8-inch 1440x3168 with micro-curvature design on all sides. The device will come with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and an improved water resistance rating.
