LongShot11, 09 Mar 2025Should I wait for Poco F7 Pro or buy OnePlus 13R?In order for you to decide, you should be sure about what kind of phone you want.
Check for availability of the phone in your area.
Then finally, try both before purchasing.

Bought the OnePlus 13r astral trail. Been two months. No problems except WiFi disconnecting at odd times. Battery is very good in comparison to 11r. Used 11r for almost two years.

Anyway, this info was already proven to be false.
Here's what the OnePlus' Head of the OOS Operation Team has to say about it:
---------------
"Let's clear the confusion.
The OnePlus 13 and 13R will receive 4 major Android updates: Android 16, 17, 18, and 19, & 6 years of security updates. The pre-installed Android version at launch doesn't count as the first update.
We're committed to keeping your device Fast and Smooth for years to come!"

I can get a S25 for as low as € 550, with trade-ins. Of course, they're not always available, but when they are... Can get a € 100 bonus + say € 150 if I trade-in a S21.

- US: $599.99
- Europe: €799,00
Do they imagine Europeans as people who light their cigarettes with 100 euro bills?
What were they thinking?!

SigmaLigma, 21 Feb 2025The battery is not Si/C, I msged Oneplus on Instagram, they... moreI got mine today (the 13R) with the trade in of my 12R (430CDN trade in) not bad. So after taxes mine was about 530CDN. A super deal considering I was considering buying the iPhone 16e but even with my 11 pro trade in they only offered 130 for it. What a disappointment. However One plus never lets me down. So ya going with them a 4th time now. Hope the 13R is as good as my 12R was. No wireless charging was a bummer. But I learned to plug it in at my desk and in my car when needed. No biggie. -

Near perfect flagship-grade phone marred by two things: USB 2.0 and cheap ultrawide. Other than that, this is a very respectable phone for the price in the US.

Has anyone experienced something funny or missing in their OnePlus's phones with Oxygen OS 15 update?
I noticed my Nord 3 is crucially and mysteriously missing the Circle To Search feature from Google. I have searched the settings and can't find anything in there.
Any help please?

SigmaLigma, 21 Feb 2025The battery is not Si/C, I msged Oneplus on Instagram, they... moreIt is important that the proper information be stated both by the manufacturer and sites like GSMArena.
However, that aside, I think some people may be worried or complaining about the 13R battery not being the new tech as the 13. And if so, gosh - why is that a bad thing? New tech is nice but unproven and technically they are the Guinea pigs now. Who knows what happens in year 2-3-4.
I have had problems with my 8T (device certification failure) but not related to charging or battery. It holds and charges IMO perfectly fine. And unlike the 8T, with my current S25+ - I am sitting there with timers and writing stuff down - how does my phone charging speed compare to the GSMArena numbers?. And the answer is - the speed is crap. And there is a post on Tom's that suggests I am not alone (S25+/S25 Ultra users).
Never once did I sit there with OnePlus and compared the times of charging. It was wicked fast on day one as in year 5 and thanks to OP - I am a marked man and want more OP.
(PS - IMO the best cars are not the first model of the "next generation" but typically the last model of the previous generation. A "generation" change can result in massive unproven changes - and those early models are where you have the most recalls - food for thought [and yes I was burned specifically with a first model new generation of the Hyundai Santa Fe 2007 and knowing that fact that was a huge negative before buying).
