AnonD-563227, 22 Jul 2016should I got this or the Huawei mate 8?? help me guys !!ONEPLUS 3 is an absolutely a fantastic phone. I have used samsung s6 and this phone is definitely much better than that. I strongly recommend this phone to anyone who is looking for a nice decent phone.

Yeah, compared to the Note 5, One Plus 3 is a lot better

My opinion on this.. First I haven't bought my phone yet and I am over 2 months here and there reading and watching all I find in order to make the best choice.
I was a OP3 enthusiast, I was convincing myself that OP3 not only was cheap but was also something amazing, perhaps better than S7 (I would focus on some stuff and ignore other).
However there is one small details you are ALL missing:
OP3 has a limited market, you can buy it in OP website and some other partners, with a fixed price. (in my region 399€)
Now, Samsung S7 can be found in many e-commerce platforms and that is a game changer. Where I am SS7 is being sold at 740€. You can now find some stores that can sell it with a great discount for 600€. In e-commerce stores you can find it for 490€!!!!! Brand new! Many stores. Order online, and pick it up at the store, no need to pay anything up front (in case you are suspicious like me). SS7 Edge is now at 570€. Prices drop every day around 1€.
So am I going to buy OP3 for the price of 399? MORE, being dependent on the OP3 charger for the dash charge and given the fact that the phone is slippery and does not come with headphones, you need to buy the go big or go home bundle which will put a total of 460€. 30 Euros more and get the SS7. Comes with the headphones and since you are buying it in e-commerce for another 15 euros through in a Samsung cover.
For not much more, you can have the flagship of Samsung. Case to say NEVER SETTLE ahahah
My friend already has his SS7 Edge and is amazing, the real deal. I am currently waiting for the release of SS7 Edge+ to see how it will shake the prices before I make my move (is not every time you buy a new phone, do it well or don't do it at all).
Lets face it OP3 fans:
- OP3 has RAM that cannot manage properly. Samsung can jump from app to app with no need to reload content (see youtube vs. videos).
- The SS7 camera is waaaaay better. Plus the video.
- Waterproof is as useful as it is, but awesome nonetheless.
- Screen quality is just way way above on SS7.
- SD Card. With all the super HD pics and 4k Video where do you expect to save all that? I suppose these files must be kind of heavy.
- SS7 is just beautiful. OP3... meh.

Hi Sara,
It really depends on your use and how long you plan to keep the phone. Currently the LG G3 will save you $200 over the $400 OnePlus 3.
The OnePlus will be futureproof in the sense that it will get updates, it carries the latest processor in the market, it has 6GB of RAM and runs on a light operating system that doens't bog the phone down. Over all, the OnePlus 3 seems to be the better option for the $200 extra as it compares so closely to a galaxy S7 that costs $700.
If you want to save money, sure get the LG G3, it's not a terrible option, although it lacks a fingerprint scanner, but it runs well and is a great phone for $200. The OnePlus 3 is a Phenomenal phone for $400.

•One of the best design and build quality

Given the price, I'll buy OnePlus 3, since I can't afford the flagships costing more than double in my country. Thus I'll be free from concerned with "Do I really have the best phone?", or "Was it worth it?", or "That new phone has greater specs!! I wish mine had it, since I paid premium for it!", as well!

looks aside, no downside to it. Camera is average compare to the latest phones S7 etc.

I bought the OnePlus 3 while I was using the Samsung Galaxy Note 5. Let me tell you this, the OnePlus 3 is a lot faster than the note 5. The camera performs better. The fingerprint sensor is good. It is insane value for money.
