Great Phone. Too bad it doesn't have a radio app. For a lot of people, the radio is a very useful application (not internet radio that cost you data !!!!)

I want to buy a new phone around september and its between this and the Nexus 6P.
The most important factors for me is gaming performance and battery life.
Which phone is better for gaming (Modern Combat 5: Blackout is my only game that I play and it needs to run smooth)? 1+3 or 6P
Battery life shouldnt be worse than my current phone, which is Huawei Ascend G7 with 3,000 mAh... will it be able to get similar battery life or better?

But my point is, is it really worth investing that amount of our hard earned money in a gadget which is inevitably gonna be replaced by either a non flagship or maybe even the next samsung or apple device which will boast of a better configuration !

AnonD-550862, 24 Jun 201657K for a non-apple phone ?
Whats the point in spending a ... moreI feel its the price of technology and research that we pay for. Material cost is not high. Thats why Sam and Appy charges high for their products. We get Sam Edge... Apple 3d touch etc which are not available in other phones.
These companies have separate research teams which develop products and test them.
It worth to appreciate them if it fits our wallet. Otherwise, MI , OP etc are always there.

Whats the point in spending a fortune when the average longevity of a smartphone is hardly more than 2 years, nowadays
Also, specs are only marginally better than OP3, at least on paper
About the display, yes its better than OP3, but how often do we use VR ? Not regularly I believe
The OP3 camera is decent, according to the reviews, so unless you are a pro , won't make much of a difference
Audio quality, hardly differential
Expandable memory, maybe you need that with a 16/32GB , but not with 64GB I guess
Water resistance, wireless charging, not dealbreakers, plus the dash charging is really fast
So, I don't think its wise to spend such amount on a premium phone in today's times, unles its gonna last for at least more than 2 years!

Mutnat, 23 Jun 2016It really depends on your preferences. The screen looks fi... moreThere are serious display color saturation issues with OP3
Also, the reason why apps reload is because they are aggressively kicked out of memory after a while
Looks like OP is trying to address these issues in an upcoming OTA

AnonD-552315, 23 Jun 2016Same here bud. Are you from US? I'm still thinking about op... moreIf you can easily afford S7 edge, go for it. Not just the higher screen dpi which is better for VR headsets, but it has one of the best cameras even among Galaxy series. Nothing else comes close to its camera performance. The audio quality also is stellar. Performance-wise, both are powerful. It also has expandable memory and is water resistant. It even has more sensors and wireless charging.
You are getting all this stuff for the premium that you are paying
