Received phone and used for a day
Over all looks good but there are areas to improve like Touch (earlier used IOS and HTC) not so fluid like these brands and charging pin was different to others.
Bit slippery and no head phones given.

Hi
Can someone give a review on one plus 3?
Firstly, is there a flash also in front camera like it there in iphone 6s and moto g4 plus i.e. we are clicking the pics front end with flash on so screen gets bright while taking a pic and act as flash.
secondly, any lag is der or bugs ?
Thirdly how much time it takes to charge the phone?
Thanks

cenda, 16 Jun 2016Does it support MHL or other video output over USB?I hope it does. The OP2 supported HML over Micro USB. I have an OP3 on order. Should arrive by the end of the month. Switching from Windows Phone after so many years. Giving up Continuum, a really unique video out feature, but I didn't use it that often. If HML works on the OP3 I'll use it but it seems like Android just gives you a big phone screen. Fine for tapping out some emails I guess oh and gaming. :)

Bugs found so far (3.1.2 version)
- Certain bluetooth problems, when using with cars (could be problem of car system update)
- Horrible video quality, when connect OP3 screen to TV or something similar.
- Camera software (stock) sometimes doesn't do anything when trying to take picture.
- Video recording / playback contains corrupted elements (problem with playback)
- RAM is limited to 2GB per application by config.
- Random lag spikes / freeze with games and applications, see above.
- Very good hardware, but 1080p recording limited to 30fps for certain reason.
- Battery level seem to be unreliable sometimes.
Report more bugs, and share with OP community and developers!

There are many problems currently with OP3 and software, for example camera doesn't work on stock, and various other problems, you should wait before buy it.

I live with an ancient galaxy S3 and consider upgrading to OP3. Want a good phone with good battery, enough storage, not a lot of lag and a good camera... to a good price.

James, 16 Jun 2016Please help me to choose, xperia z3+ or oneplus3?
Hi James. This is a great question, and one I faced myself! After researching several phone options (Moto X Play, Honor 5X, Moto G4 Plus, Zenfone 2/3, others), I had finally settled and was just about ready to order an Xperia Z3+. Things I liked about it included: better physical size for me (I have small hands, to 5.2" is better for me than 5.5"), waterproof (great for rainy environment I live in), good overall specs for memory/storage/performance, good battery life, etc. Oh and the price, and overall value.
The main drawback was many reports of overheating due to the Snapdragon 810. Some say it's only when recording 4K video or gaming, some say it's even taking more than a few regular photos at a time, or doing other less intense tasks than gaming and video but as a power user juggling lots of apps and such. I would fall into that latter category. Also, some people said the Marshmallow update solved the overheating, others said it didn't. It was hard to get a real feel for it.
I was about to order it on the 12th or 13th, but decided to wait for the OnePlus 3 announcement just to see how it would compare, and I was pretty blown away and ordered one just after the orders went live. It's a bit bigger than I'd like, and not waterproof, but it has so many pluses including: AMOLED screen (I'm a fan over IPS), double the RAM and storage (I'm okay with no SD with 64GB!), finger print reader (z3+ has none), and the 820 which is a lot better than the 810 in the Z3+. Also the metal body I think will be more durable than the glass-backed Z3+, which I was a bit worried about shattering as well.
I'm still not 100% sure I made the right choice but I'm excited to get my OP3 late next week. Honestly I don't think you can go too wrong with either. What are your priorities when selecting a phone? If only price, the Z3+ is cheaper. If smaller form factor then Z3+. If large screen then OP3. If preformance then OP3. Convenience of the fingerprint reader will be nice too. It's really up to you!
